Lol waste of money. I read this in some learn to mix site, I never bought 2 of the same record and I could mix tracks pretty well in about 2-3 weeks. It's really not that hard at all! Esp trance, only mix for like 1 min if that, cause of builds, breakdowns etc. Not that hard to keep them beat matched. Fun = mixing prog for more than 3 min in a transition. And when you pull it of without any little bit of trainwrecking, its awsome. |
well sometimes i buy two, but only tracks that i really like. :)
And i doubt anyone could mix to a standard im thinking off in 2-3 weeks. Maybe you can beatmatch garbage like d&b or breaks, but trance is like 10 times harder. And also with phrasematching, somany people that up its not funny. And its not possible do a 3 minute transition with 99% of TRANCE (but i know what you mean in terms of keeping beatmatching), i usually stick to 64 beat transtioins,32 if im lazy. :D |

| But usually about 128beats, which is about a minute... |

no seriously i could beatmatch trance in like 2-3 weeks. Phasematching took a bit longer but now its all awsome. Its mad now cause it only takes me like 1 min to beat match 2 songs so i throw in samples and , so much fun! |

| lazy mixing is cool for clubs sometimes, when you just make a bangin huge transition as long as no energy is lost. A lot of the time with 32 beat mixes, you have to make sure you cue really well, otherwise, phases can sound dodgy. I love knowing about all this stuff! :D :D |

in terms of cueing its exactly the same, beacause youd just start the cue say 32-64 beats before you want to throw it in.......
but sometimes you have to be in good with the mixer, to know whe to fade out the outgoing track. |

ahhh there looks to be a lot of bad talk 'bout Fischerspooner in here lately!
well, I like Fischerspooner :o :o
Sure, I've heard a lot better...but they're so catchy! and yes, their lyrics are e...but I don't care about that. It's all just fun. Fischerspooner are just for s and giggles, much like 80s pop :) |
