Hey we dont save people but I have helped people fresh off the boat find a rental apartment with no commission to myself just so they wouldnt end up on a street. Their family did buy a 500 000 house off of me a few weeks later. but yaaa....

| What is so dumb about what he said? There are exactly 0 things wrong with being proud of what you do for a living and helping people make major life decisions along the way. No, real estate agents aren't carrying babies out of burning buildings, but it feels good to do your job right and honestly, and see that it genuinely helps people out. |

re Halcyon, there is nothing wrong with being proud. But you can't deny he does go about it like he is a black guy about to promo something. Having said that, he does seem to focus on the money aspect rather than the actual job which to me I suppose isn't really that inspiring.
It has a slight used car sales man tinge to it. Again this is just how you represent yourself. Like your entire universe was formed by watching Boiler room over and over and over. Money seems to have a hard time buying class. |

I love seeing peoples mental conditioning towards making money.
The general public feel making money is a terrible thing. They figure you didn't follow your heart and sold out to the almighty dollar. But the truth is 80% of people here probably hate their jobs anyways and are only there to collect their cheque at the end of the week, living through hell for 8 hrs of the day just so they can maintain their style of living. Who really sold out?
Lets say I did sell out to "the man" at least i was smart enough to realize chances are I wouldn't find my dream "job" and decided to make it financially worth my while. However, that isn't the case. I got into this business with aspirations of one day building and developing. I have a large construction background and since I was a kid I have always wanted to build. I'm pursuing what I want. So eat a dick.
My life is almost where I want it to be right now. I'm pretty stoked |
