| Curious for chaska and xpander's reviews but I did get a text from a friend last night saying the club itself was great... visually appealing, good layout.. but the water was $8 and in glass bottles.. he wasn't drinking alcohol but I assume you can't get a beer for less than 10 then. |

i got to the venue around 12 due to unforeseen circumstances but the entrance was nothing but lines. they made people on guest lists wait for an hour, only allowed people with tickets and had no tables left to sell for bottle service. but so many people was walking right in to the club like they owned the place..so much politics at the door.
i think it would have been easier if i came earlier but i def learned my lesson. we got in around 1AM and the place was pretty packed.
the venue looks and feels great. the sound system is pretty good and i would say it's a spacious venue. the bars are to the sides so it doesn't interfere with the dance floor. but i am not a huge fan of the design of the exits. You got the dj booth exit, door to smoke, coat check and the bar all at the same coridor. people were pushing people all over the dance floor and it did get pretty ridicilous at some points
i have seen dubfire few times already at nyc and i would say this was my favorite set. But he really brought it on as it was close to 4 and played another half hour after closing. he dropped grindhouse and some maceo plex, woo hooo!
thanks to sleepy&boo for having us and i wish you guys success at marquee on friday nights. And I have to say all these people that was talking about a dress code being enforced was totally wrong. I didn't see anyone get turned down because they were dressing sneakers or a swag tshirt.
Funny moment of the night was when someone came up to Dubfire end of his set and asked him where the afterparty was. The look on Dubfire's face was priceless! ;-)
PS. It was finally nice to meet you Skeptic. It's cool that you recognized me but mistakes me for edubbz ;-) And nice chilling with your Frequency Frank..until next time! |

| Good seeing you too bro! I thought the venue was pretty solid. I got there before 11, and was in the club within 15 minutes. No issues with dress code, although I had boots on. The club actually really impressed me, easy to hang upstairs or downstairs, strong drinks (at basically the same prices as pacha), and LOTS of eye candy  Sound was good, lighting was great, and a much better crowd than I would have expected. Looking forward to going there soon! |

Not true. You just have to dress like not a slob. |
This is what someone posted on FB after actually calling the club after speaking to someone.
Good to hear that wasn't the case though. |

Yeah, I'm not sure why you guys always talk about dress codes - just wear sharp casual clubwear... you'll be fine everywhere. And that's not collared shirts!
Can't wait to see Sharam next week and check this place out! |

woah!
Really impressed by the venue, the design and sound are top notch. The staff is unlike anything I've seen in the city, they were really nice and cordial, it was shocking to be honest, I thought that it was impossible to find staff like that in NYC.
Only complain will be the men restrooms which do not seem to have enough stalls to handle the amount of drunk guys in the club lol. they were just 5 so you needed to wait in line for a looooong time to take a leak. My advise for any of you guys for future events would be to not wait for the last minute to go, cause you know, you wanna avoid to have a bad time.
Xpander and Chaska; I'm so sorry for disappointing you guys for not being neonbeats hahaha I know you two were eager to meet that dude in person lol It was nice meeting both of you! |

| lmao I don't really like meeting people from the internet. I saw Mike Basic chillin at the entrance of the Luciano NYD party, kinda wanted to say hi to thank him for all the good times over the years, but decided to just walk on by :o |
