| i think it's safe to say that if marquee rebranded itself as a big time, high end bottles/models club and this is the grand reopening.. you probably won't want to be in cargo shorts and nike kicks lol. |

or were they looking for bottle customers?
anyhow I don't think "dress code" is very instructive. some people look sharp wearing causal wear. some girls come in dresses and they look like trash.
come with some style! get tickets...come early....put yourself on a guest list....flaunt who you are.

Yes, of course. Not me, because I'm ing fabulous, but I've had it happen to friends I was with.
This is a city where it's become normal to kick off the headlining DJ because someone with $$$ doesn't like their tunes. Us normals definitely can be given a hard time for anything. Doormen are bullies in black suits. |

BTW, the guy who used to be the doorman at Marquee was probably the most famous of all doormen, he even was in an episode of Law and Order
