think it matters much if its clubs without ticketed events, like thouse Nouveau York things at LeBain:
you're basically at the whim of the door, whether it REALLY is what you'rr wearing (if they tell you which isn't most times anyhow), or something else, can't know.
But when it's a ticketed event, like Dubfire, should any of that matter?
Then, so long as a posted, "objective" dress code is met (like that ever popular Glazz thing "girls no flats"), there really shouldn't be a problem, no? |

Yes, because they always have small print saying entry is at the discrection of the club.
I doubt any of this will be an issue for this venue (esp is people like S&B are involved) and for anyone in this chat, but it does happen. |

You're right of course, totally forgot.
Webster Hall always makes sure to have that be larger than just in the fine-print.
But you just have to look around there to know they never exercise that discretion.

I don't dress bad I think, but I was turned around at Marquee for not wearing dress shoes... But that was few years ago, 6 or 7. That was the only time I was denied. |
