Insomniac Announces the Return of
Electric Daisy Carnival, New York
May 17 & 18, 2013 at Citi Field
Tickets on sale February 8th at 12 p.m. Eastern Standard Time at www.electricdaisycarnival.com
Los Angeles, January 30, 2013 – Insomniac, the premier producer of electronic dance music festivals, today announced that Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) will return to New York for a second time on May 17 and 18, 2013 at Citi Field. Tickets for the much anticipated event go on sale February 8, 2013 at 12 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. For the second year in a row, Insomniac will be working with RPM Worldwide, the team behind Pacha New York, as the local partner for the festival.
With its spectacular display of special effects, state-of-the-art lighting and sound as well as hundreds of theatrical performers, interactive art installations and pyrotechnics, EDC New York will again create an unforgettable experience unlike any other show in the tri-state area.
“Based on the tremendous success of the first EDC New York in 2012, there was no question that Insomniac would return to the loyal fans in New York who truly enjoy the multi-sensory experience that we create,” said Insomniac CEO, Pasquale Rotella.
Two-day general admission tickets will initially be priced at $159 with VIP tickets selling at $299 before service fees. A layaway pricing option will be available. A limited number of single-day tickets will be available for this two-day experience at a later date. Minimum age for VIP is 21 and older.
EDC New York is one of Insomniac’s premier festivals on this summer’s tour of the Electric Daisy Carnival that includes stops in Chicago, Puerto Rico, Orlando and Las Vegas - which is Insomniac’s largest production both in scale and attendance.
Full travel packages, hotel deals and shuttle passes are also available at www.electricdaisycarnival.com.

At least it's in NY this time around, not NJ. No offense guys. I like that it's closer to home.. Price isn't bad either, I guess, $80 a day is what avg $$ for A&B was. Anyway, interest spiked, now let's see some line up.
One thing tho, the trailer I saw this morning on facebook said it's a three day thing but the press release says 2 days. |

Yes but you will probably be waiting for that express bus to NJ for 30 mins instead lol.
I don't know about the whole 3 day thing. May be the 3rd day is afterparties somewhere and it's not announced yet. The info I got is straight from Insomniac. |
