I actually really enjoyed this interview:

Still haven't heard the album, but I'm excited to give it a spin. I honestly don't hate Holden, I just find his persona hilarious at times.

I could never hate him, he made "I Have Put Out The Light." However, his persona is dickish in the extreme.

I always took melodies for granted, like I can just out a melody, I don’t really need to work at that.

I'll check out the album for old time's sake, but it'll probably be a while.

He probably can out a melody, tbh. Doesn't mean it's any good.

Ya know, while he can sound kinda whiny and dick-ish I like that he's not trying to be all politically correct. So many people in the underground just go out of their way to never burn bridges and offend anyone (unless it's a mainstream act of course) so it's kind of refreshing that he just goes and calls something or goes against the generally accepted norm in the underground. Like the bit where he talks about cutting people from his label, almost nobody would actually say that in an interview but he just does it.

I can't understand why many here admire him. He's and a big headed douche! And his music is dump for your ears.

Low and behold, the quintessential dj christian post.

Renata is incredible, havent heard anything like that in quite a while.
Its a pity the album is so weird in places, dont know if I could be bothered listened to most of it again

colossal bump, but i felt need to say i listened to the album and i liked it. He is still an obnoxious prick but the album i do recommend. Blackpool late eighties is in the running for track of the year for me. Amazing.

On a side note: Is there any legit site selling "Horizons" in lossless digital quality WAV or FLAC>>

I love this new style. His RA mix he recently did is pretty good. There is a good half hour part that I can listen to over and over again. I enjoy Holdens personality. He reminds me of myself.

It sounds like Ricardo Tobar was one of the "leeches" that Holden was referring to in the interview where he talks about removing people from the label. I remember Ricardo Tobar's myspace back in the day when his first BC release dropped saying something like "I just want to become a superstar DJ" or something to that effect.
