So, men spinning on vinyl make you sick, but the fact that you are a flaming "homosexual", who loves big, hairy men, don't make you sick?? |

...sorry I just stepped out the DeLorean to reply, give me a second to get my bearings! Ironic actually that your views on vinyl and homophobia both come from the same time period! |

Panzy J you sound like a cry baby. Oh boo hoo, someone wrote a book before me, so now I'm gonna try and make him look bad.
One of the reasons why my grammar may seem off is cuz I may have Aspergers Syndrome. For the other guy, "As at" is legal grammar. It means at this point in time of writing. "As of" can be false, because information is always changing.
Facts are facts. The book is out. Yours isn't. Maybe you felt like a dagger hit you in the chest because you were planning your own book on Trance & Proressive for years and when you saw mine you popped a head gasket lol!
Dance nation, the reason I wrote this book is to educate the next generation coming up in the scene, as to the historical meaning of the term Trance music...where it came from. Nobody has done it so far, and whoever briefly did cover "Trance" in previous books (a couple pages here and there), was generally flat out wrong in my, and various others, opinion. The book also was not a money making scam like someone in this thread said, or it wouldn't be priced at $2.99.
Information about the history of trance that appears on the web, like website articles and blogs, almost everywhere I've looked, is partly composed of the most idiotic false beliefs I have ever read. Most of those writers who wrote about Trance or Progressive history have no clue BECAUSE THEY WERE NEVER THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE.
The book is meant to be taken lightly...a fun read...it talks quite a bit about Tiesto, since for many of you he was your lord saviour; David Guetta (in my opinion the world's most popular dance music DJ right now); EXTENSIVELY TALKS ABOUT THE COMMERCIALIZATION OF EDM; about many DJs and producers of our scene; about the history of Toronto's Progressive & Trance scene...
The book doesn't talk that much about Armin, not because i'm trying to not acknowledge his efforts for trance, but because I don't know much about him. He came into the picture after Tiesto from what I remember, and I left the rave scene for a while at the time, around when trance was at another peaking point and got too cheesy for me.
I am completely open to anyone challenging the information. If you say something is wrong or false, please explain why, to start debate. Simply saying something is wrong, means nothing if you can't explain why its wrong.

Rick Mage and Jon The Dentist probably go way back. They are both hard as .
Kris Wadsworth is probably a little too fluffy to hang with those two. |

Aspergers doesn't affect grammar and punctuation, it affects your ability to socially interact with others. It's a function of social behavior, not basic literacy. In fact, most people with Aspergers tend to have an incredible grasp of the English language because they can type far more eloquently than they can speak.
Your problem is not that you have Aspergers. It's that you are appallingly ignorant about a subject that you claim to know a lot about, and you are attempting to make money off this claim.
Basically, you are a shyster whoring out bad knowledge and worse information about a scene that you claim to care about but would not think twice about selling completely down the river, befitting your occupation in marketing.
The rest of us would like you to stop what you are doing, and politely off.
