I don't understand why mate. Anybody who was addicted to trance was a Tiesto stan at one point. I miss when he was the undisputed king for 3 straight years.

Embraced or settled? I personally couldn't stand much of anything from 2005 onward. I think the scene in general has really picked up over the past few years. I guess when you listen to all that crap minimal and electro garbage that was dominating the scene, Tiesto's remix of Silence starts to sound pretty damn good.:p

Embraced is certainly the wrong word. Settled sounds better.
2005 is certainly an accurate cut off year. that's also when I abandoned trance. PVD is an alltime great, but I thought his back to back wins on djmag was a farce.
