silence next to this is a lump of cheddar... "classic", or not.
Yeah Perception is truly awesome, i love it with or without the vocals, the dub mix is indeed equally as good.
I believe the original was meant to be a non-vocal track and that they were forced by the label to make a vocal track out of it.

nah, "perception" was vocalized by additive records and the lyrics were written by aurora (i think). cass & slide didn't like it and it was unsupported by them but they approved it anyways.

I think if you can pick a definite 'best ever' vocal trance, you haven't listened to enough vocal trance. How about great tracks such as:
Above and Beyond - Sun and Moon, Alone Tonight and Thing Called Love
Armin Van Buuren - Shivers, I'll Listen and In and Out of Love
Gareth Emery - Concrete Angel
Airbase ft. Floria Ambra - Wonders
Paul Van Dyke - For An Angel
Yuri Kane - Right Back
Dash Berlin - Waiting
Everything Oceanlab...
To name just a few... Who can truly pick one favourite from all the wonderful vocal tracks over the years?

I remember asking him (Cass) about the track when he was DJing down here, he just shook his head, he didnt wanna hear anything about it.
