Also, I'm just pointing out that DJRANN is flat out lying about Zimmerman's height. He's just spurting out lies as "fact" in the hope that it will somehow sway people in the direction of his already tenuous argument. |

@Lang - Schwarzenegger has been in the public eye for 40 years and of course, being an action star his physique is of consequence for his image.
In this case however, the need to bull about Trayvon being Blackzilla and Zimmerman being this rotund midget served a purpose to get scared white people (like Srussell) on his side.
So again, just so everyone knows:
Martin 5'11" and 158lbs (official and exact coroner measurements)
Zimmerman 5'9" and 200lbs (height actually measured during mugshot, weight approximated - Sanford Police Dept on night of attack)
If anything that puts Trayvon underweight and in terms of size you'd give the fight to Zimmerman, especially being 10 years older and stocky. I think that's exactly what was going through Zimmerman's mind - I can take this punk, until he got whooped by Trayvon and pulled the gun. |

To telling us that 911 aren't part of "law enforcement" when the actual title of the person that took the call was Police Communications Officer and he actually works at the Seminole County Sherrifs office. Sean Noffke. google it.
You really should stop commenting on this case as you don't have a ing clue. |

Martin was walking home. Zimmerman was following Martin. Zimmerman called the police. They told him not to say anything or get out of his car. Zimmerman started talking to Martin and eventually got out of his car. Zimmerman killed martin at close range.
There you have it. Regardless of whatever peoples "opinions" are or what transpired outside of those events, Martin would have got home, Zimmerman would not have pulled gun and Martin would be alive.
Anyone can walk anywhere that is not private property and should do so unhindered. That is actually the law.
Everything that Zimmerman did was either against direct police advice or even technically illegal. |
i highlighted the relevant parts. its not a crime to disregard what a dispatcher says. they are not sworn peace officers.
this is florida law
843.02 Resisting officer without violence to his or her person.—Whoever shall resist, obstruct, or oppose any officer as defined in s. 943.10(1), (2), (3), (6), (7), (8), or (9); member of the Parole Commission or any administrative aide or supervisor employed by the commission; county probation officer; parole and probation supervisor; personnel or representative of the Department of Law Enforcement; or other person legally authorized to execute process in the execution of legal process or in the lawful execution of any legal duty, without offering or doing violence to the person of the officer, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
(1) “Law enforcement officer” means any person who is elected, appointed, or employed full time by any municipality or the state or any political subdivision thereof; who is vested with authority to bear arms and make arrests; and whose primary responsibility is the prevention and detection of crime or the enforcement of the penal, criminal, traffic, or highway laws of the state. This definition includes all certified supervisory and command personnel whose duties include, in whole or in part, the supervision, training, guidance, and management responsibilities of full-time law enforcement officers, part-time law enforcement officers, or auxiliary law enforcement officers but does not include support personnel employed by the employing agency.
had Zimmerman disobeyed the instructions of sworn peace officers, i have no doubt that the prosecution would have charged him with that offense as well.

One: Never said he was 6'2, I said he was 5'11 and Martin was 5'7
Two: I never said 911 dispatchers aren't part of "law enforcement", I said they're not members of the police department. It's a civil service job and they dispatch fire, EMT, police, etc. The location of the dispatcher's base is completely irrelevant.
You can keep claiming I said things that I didn't, or you can just admit that you're wrong now and save yourself the embarrassment. |
