If you have nothing better to do than patrol a neighborhood at night for fun you're a ing waste.

Personally, I'm so proud so many in this country feel fine knowing that any escalation they run into with another person could end in gunfire. Superb.

This makes so much sense. Instead of arguing why not just shoot and try to defend yourself later? "I SWEAR it judge, I felt personally threatened. My PHYSICAL BODY was at RISK, I DO BELIEVE. Oh, yeah the only other legitimate witness is dead, but like, he started it."

Yes, it was; Trayvon's character and persona were brought into question, in an effort to paint him as a menacing, young, black male we all just knewwww was up to no good! Whereas George Zimmerman had a history of federal charges brought against him and public flouting of their nature, they were conveniently ignored as the Defense put a dead kid on trial for his own killing. He was just asking for it with those skittles, you know?

If anything, this trial illustrates the ridiculous provisions that self-defense laws and concealed-carry laws grant when they overlap. Those who are legally armed outside of their own homes should be held to a completely different standard than a presumably unarmed pedestrian.

Zimmerman had been taking MMA classes at a local gym for over a year, even though his teachers there described him as a flabby mess even after the training; it's not hard to see that he was a man who felt he had something to prove, and so picked on a lone youth who either threw the first punch or was merely defending himself from this creepy fat guy in the dark of night. Either way, Zimmerman came armed, knew he had the upper-hand, and engaged this person anyway. At best, it is active vigilantism, and the fact that it is now tolerated by precedent is a damning thing of the Florida legal system.

Blah blah blah creepy fat guy, former criminal, flabby mess etc etc. According to you Trayvon's past shouldn't have led us to believe that he was doing anything wrong, but Zimmerman's should? Talk about double standards.

Every post you're making are just ad-hominem attacks at Zimmerman, yet you completely ignore ALL of the character evidence about Trayvon. Wasn't the defense not allowed to introduce evidence of guns in a backpack that were found belonging to Trayvon? Nope, just an innocent little kid buying some skittles and mercilessly beating a man into the pavement!

You're just like the media initially posting Zimmerman in an orange jumpsuit and Trayvon as an innocent little boy of about 12.

We'll never know who started the fight as there is no conclusive evidence either way. But who was pursuing whom? Who chased after someone knowing they had the upper-hand? Zimmerman hunted Trayvon, and when he couldn't handle the reaction of a youth being stalked at night in a civil manner, he resorted to bloodshed. This is not a man innocent of slaughter.

How did he know he had an upper hand? Did he ask Trayvon if he had a gun before he started pursuing? "Hunted" lol. Jesus.

Right, bashing his head into the concrete. Pure speculation that his body was at risk and that he should fear for his life.

If both had survived both would have been charged with crimes.
