A question I want to pose to TA: do you guys find Coda to be "lighter" than most clubs? I've been twice now, for Art Department/Ame and now Gui. Both nights, the vibe has been very peaceful. It seems light-hearted. I think the ambiance might be the result of a few factors: the crisp and pure sound, which they play at a nice volume as opposed to extremely loud (a conversation can be had pretty easily); the lighting which allows for more visibility than any club I can think of; and the fact that Coda's clearly not allowing in more than capacity--it's full but doesn't feel rammed. Mind you, I've only been twice. I wonder if the Beyer, Victor Calderone and Ida Endberg nights were rowdier. Thoughts?

I noticed this and like this aspect of Coda. I especially noticed the lighting during John Talabot. I enjoy it way more when you can actually see the crowd in the club, instead of having the lights really low with a strobe light going so that you can barely see 10 feet in front of you.

The lighting at Coda is incredible, and they should use it as much as possible.
Dior Homme
I wish they had a few more of that diagrid lighting to span the dancefloor. But I do like it when it goes off (when it does... pretty trippy haha).

I also miss the cobra lighting system. Images those two fused on the Coda space? I'd party lying on the ground. Just kidding.

Coda Needs to book John Digweed now!

^ maybe one day :P

I'm confident Digweed will be there eventually. Just a matter of time based on the roster so far and how April and May is looking.

I'll be there so in' front and center for Digweed!
