Sasha fell asleep behind the decks...
I fell asleep on the dance floor |

Sasha looked like a vegetable up there.
Waited in line from 1-2:30am and when I got in I was expecting Sasha to pick it up and get the party started. Boy, was I wrong. Zzzzzzz |

Really? I thought Sasha played an awesome set. Rosa definitely picked up the tempo to close the place in the last hour. |

First, I had a great time! Saw tons of friends and it was a solid vibe.
Secondly, Sasha played much harder than I usually expect, which was nice.
Thirdly, I expected more of out him, but that is not to say I didn't enjoy what brought. |

As some one who hasn't missed Sasha in MTL or Toronto the last five times he's come here, i'm going to need a comprehensive review.
Unfortunately the winter kicked the out of my bank account and I couldn't make it :( |

I was so entranced by the music, that despite being fully engaged throughout his entire set, I can't recall the ID of a single track. Sasha put me under a spell with his mixing and progressive brilliance. I loved his programming--some wonderfully euphoric and spiritual tracks amongst some heavier gyrating bangers. He wasn't extremely varied in his selections, and I wouldn't have been upset to hear more (any?) songs from Invol<3r, but I loved the flow he created. Sasha's set was a pleasure to interact and dance with.
I wish I could remember this one track: he played it sometime between 3:20 and 4:00am. I've listened to its original mix a number of times, but I have no idea its name. I can only describe it as the most beautiful and joyous song of the night, and it sounded to me like Sasha was doing a live edit of the track (could be mistaken though, and maybe it was just a remix I hadn't heard) that took me to another dimension. The edit gave the track a fuller and more euphoric sound. I listen to a lot of Robot Heart mixes, Matt Darey podcasts, Electronic Groove podcasts, and Sasha sets, amongst other things, so I'm sure the original of the track in question can be found somewhere in there. I recognize this description of the song probably provides little help, but does anyone have an idea? And/or does anyone know the track Sasha finished with?
After Sasha, Jonathan Rosa hopped on the decks again, and wow, he delivered! He started playing some amazing party music, much of which made me jump around. The remix he dropped of Florence's "You've Got the Love" and the track immediately preceding it were so good. Anyone have those IDs?
I'm perplexed by any musical complaints I've read about the night. I presume that some of the negativity on Facebook comes from people unfamiliar with Sasha's style and are bored by progressive? For me, it was an evening of soul-penetrating sounds and wonderful vibes.
Coda is ing fantastic. I've been three times now, and no other club I've been to suits my tastes so well. |

| Hmmm such mixed reviews from the night. Almost complete opposites. Many hated it his set a lot and some absolutely loved it. More reviews please. :p |

Id have to disagree... I thought they played awesome... As for sasha, he played some in hard stuff when he jumped on, I left around 3 when it started to sound more proggy... I was 50/50 on his playing, probably because I was expecting something completely different, was still good though |
