I got kicked out for running a joint outside in the smoking area which was funny. I guess they're trying to clean stuff up?? It was funny meeting Sasha in the smoking area as he was entering the place...half the people were so high they didn't even realize what the hell was going on.I got booted out after two hours of Sasha playing. I didn't think he was playing that great. Some good tracks and good mixing but it just didnt seem like it was going anywhere at times. I wonder if it got better later.
Feel sorry for the ticket holder folks that never got into the place and were subjected to waiting outside. I got in smoothly at around 12:10 I think. I thought that was poor class on Coda's part but I had a feeling the doucheness would come out in full effect for Sasha. As always, the crowd was great...some nice people to talk to but musically the ketamine infused tech-house music needs to go. |

| There was a point in time before Sasha came on absolutely no one on the dance floor was moving lol |

| ^^LOL, someone was talking about that too with me, but you can't fault Nature of Music or whoever was on. They can't upstage Sasha, they know that he's gonna be playing slow and mellow and can't rip it. |

Interesting to see such polarized reviews.
The Good: Friends, esp those I haven't seen in years.
The Ugly: Sasha's super eclectic random set that had no flow. Probably worst Sasha set I've heard in years. It's like he had a line too many of coke up his nose the entire set.
First time in Coda and I like it, even if it was super humid. |

Anyone record anything from that night? Am curious on the sound considering such bipolar reviews.
Was Sasha anything like at electric island last year? |

That's really too bad. Shame about hearing about the openers too.
Nature of Music are usually on their A-game everytime I've seen them. |

| The thing about opinions is that no one is really right. I thought NoM were perfect for the time and who they were playing before. |

| Indeed. Such diverse opinions about this night haha. Weird too. Sasha nights usually always deliver. |
