ok...2 pages later the LKD has to speak...
first off, KevinExcite, majority of us who posted in this thread know each other so if ur against one, ur against us all, u started off by making fun of DJ Horsash's nickname. had u not done that, there wouldnt have been any fighting here. nobody cares how long u have been on the threads and how much music knowledge u have when ur talking about one night a day or 2 before which everyone in this thread has been to. ur a disgrace to us mississauga TAs. thats all i have to say to u.:whip: :whip: :whip: there..now u should be all tamed :haha: :haha: :haha:
now back to the thread, was nice to meet trancextacy but unfortunate not to bump into bliss n trance, cloud9 and sarcoman. was too drunk and BOREDof ferry's set and too alone to go back to seaman so i left (as mentioned earlier). I went there to see the punk but was wanked by seaman... :haha: :haha: :haha:

Oh one more thing I forgot to mention, but has been brought up before... the sound system at the Guv SUX!!!!!! Wel actually, the sound system itsefl doesn't suck, but I mean if they're willing to spend so much freakin money on a system, AT LEAST get a proper sound engineer to set it all up!!! The bass completely would take over each track, no clarity whatsoever, it was almost impossible to hear certain NEEDED layers of tracks... Only the low rumbling frequencies could be heard. Stupid Guv is just all about power n how 'powerful' there system, is.. who in cares? we go there to wanna be able to HEAR the music.
And because of this reason I believe people got bored of Ferry's set, I think the setup in the Kool Haus is better from what I remember.. and as for mixing, I dunno how people could tell if Ferry was off with all the distortion.. and he couldnt've been off by much otherwise everyone woulda noticed... :crazy:

Hehe, one thing I've noticed is that it depends where you're standing...for example, towards the back, between the back speakers or just in front of them, the sound is clear IMO, but closer to the mens/womens washrooms, there's a bit too much bass. The stage in the front is horrible as well. Maybe we should posts Guv's "audio" hotspots? :p |

| I am surprised that you say the sound system was . I guess they try to change it everytime but whenever I was at the Guv the Phazon was perfect. And not just in certain spots but everywhere. I would come out of there without my ears even ringing and with no ear plugs. If you wanna hear a really base-y system go to Montreal to Sona., that place has a stereo that could make your ears bleed. |

Wow, the guys who are fighting, take that to another thread.
As for people who did not like Ferry, its possible you have "progressed" further in your music then enjoying the beautiful melody and build up regardless of mixing, I guess Im still lucky to be stuck in the that "cheesy" stage and thats fine with me.
Again, amazing night with amazing people, cant go wrong.

well said solo.......as for the dude talkin about the tweeking of the sound system ...I totally agree and made that as one of my bad points on the night....the bass was too high and you could barely hear most layers of the tracks as stated by you.....perfect description IMO
