I think you should tap yourself on the shoulder because your oafish demeanor undeniably does not warrant the response from half of TAs. Take your primitive balderdash somewhere else because I can assure you that nobody enjoys the incoherent drivel you are contaminating this thread with. If you can’t cope with opinions that differ from your own you have a colossal problem on your hands. You are not worth our time….
Judging by the tracklist Ferry definitely seemed to have stepped it up a notch after the slow start. I think Dave Seaman is to blame for this whole fiasco, had he not left us on such a high when we left the KH I think Ferry’s second-rate intro wouldn’t have been noticed ;)
Blame it all on Seaman !:D |

Ok in terms of the fighting on here it's just stupid. I mean why even bother insulting somebody just because they didn't like the same dj's set that you liked and said it was crap. WHO CARES?! As long as you had a good time who gives a what anybody else thinks? From what I PERSONALLY have SEEN of Ferry's set it was very disappointing except for that one mix of Greece 2000, WOW and then after that at about 4:30 I left so I can't comment on the rest of it seeing as I was not there however I heard he dropped Silverbath and Back to Cali (push mix) those tracks are wicked! That would have redeemed his set I think but it's too bad I left early. Seaman still is the king of the night I think. I LOVE uplifting/euphoric trance (, it was Tiesto that got me into this stuff to begin with) but that does NOT mean automatically that whenever a dj who is in town who drops that style of music he will be guaranteed a wicked set throughout. I have proof of that from how I feel and a few other people as well. Hell I was talking to a guy on the bus on the way back afterwards and he and his buddy agreed, Ferry could do way better (at least from what we heard).
As for childish name calling and us being "noobs" even if they are new to the scene whoeever it may be does NOT give anybody the right to flip on the person just because they aren't as "knowledgable" about the music as you. If anything it's about being OPEN MINDED. I'm done ranting. |

1/2 the amount of the people in the complex we in the guv room
kool haus was jsut right..roomy, good tunes etc. |
Yup the kool Haus was just perfect but the Guv had way too many people it was way tooo HOT in there felt weird at times
But in the Kool Haus Dave Seaman tore up the place :D |

| LKD - I dont think ferry is cheese at all, just used in reference to what a lot of people think of older trance... to me its still heaven. |

well I never thought he was cheese either...I love Pitstop and Sensacion, both beautiful tracks and both which I heard him drop, but nevertheless, his set had no effect on me :)
What Hordash said is true, me and Chris (endlesswave) actually discussed this when we left and were comparing Seamans set to Ferry's. Seaman left us in such a state of mind that Ferry couldn't simply deliver to our desire...oh well, great night nonetheless, but thanks solely to Dave Seaman |

That is just it right there,
I say great night, solely due to ferry corsten.
I guess guv knows how to throw a party these days.
The fact that there were two rooms offering to amazing different sounds, plus funky and beats in other rooms, its just too good. Kinda of wish they were not on the same night, but would not give up Sat. night for anything.
See you all at SASHA! |

I won't speak to other's comments on the night. Mainly cuz I'm too lazy and unfocused to read them (as part of the after party we smoked the better part of a quarter in my mini-van at 2am yesterday, and I'm still a little retarded :D ).
Anyway, I had a crazy time. Sat was all about me and my crew that night. There was like 20 of us, we all god VIP (free too) so I finally got to check out the Gold Club - very posh, I must say. Corsten blew me away... now I'm not a huge Trance aficionado, but I knows what I likes, and I likes Corsten on Saturday.
I spent the majority of my night in the Guv (80% say), but I did get over to Kool House where my brother and his friends (he was the big guy in the yellow coat on one of the scaffolds) had taken up residence on on e of the scaffolds, so I had the mind-blowing experience of dancing 20 feet above the crowd. If they ever do the scaffol thing again I highly suggest climbing on one. You look down on everyone going nuts! Its a trip.
I had a wicked night, thats all I can say. Sorry, but I have very little to complain about... Now if you'll excuse me I have to go and pack. I'm off to Amsterdam and teh Hague where I plan on seeing Armin Van Buren spin a 12 hour set.
Hope everyone has a good month here in TO, sounds like I'm going to miss some crazy parties...
Later,
Fats |
