My old city was more expensive than Seattle, my current city is in the top 20 most expensive cities in the world. (Mercer's cost of living report)

Seoul was super cheap when I was there.
Cost of living/vacationing are two different things, though.
Any country in Europe that has the Euro should be high up there for vacationers. London first. |

You were a grunt, you didn't pay for a place to live right?
I wasn't, we had a pretty ty apartment in Itaewon, 3 guys, 1300 a month, 5k usd dollar deposit. This was in 2008. It is way more now.
Costco was much more expensive than in America. If you eat street food, it was cheap. The street food was awesome, but you can't live off of it.
London isn't a Euro zone. |

Yes, and most of my close friends in real life stopped partying years ago. |

No, I am used to partying in one of the more expensive places in North America. Detroit being that cheap just doesn't register, almost feels exploitative. :p |
myth busted. want to make more excuses for being a loser? |

Wait what? How is that myth busted, if anything its just reinforcing my point. I am not complaining about living in an expensive place. I was more giving you about exploiting a country and it's economy because you couldn't make it in the first world so you went and played little Commonwealth imperialist in another country. My saying Detroit is so cheap that it feels exploitative only reinforces that point and my standing. |

Yet, I am making it in a place that has much higher standards than your place of dwelling, as well as much higher standards than the place I left to come here.
I would like fries with that. Free mod for a game? No thanks, games are for children.
At your pay grade, the Wendy's value meal feels exploitative.
More excuses for doing nothing please.
1st world? There are miners in Africa that make more than you. |
