No, I am used to partying in one of the more expensive places in North America. Detroit being that cheap just doesn't register, almost feels exploitative. :p |
Yeah, ok Nou. :stongue: |

If you're spending a grand for DEMF you're living like a king/queen.

And yes to this too. You would NEVER spend a grand, which is why I used that number. |

Well San Francisco is more expensive and I used to do the Love Parade/Lovefest thing down there when it was going on. That was way more ing expensive than DEMF, especially if you wanted to stay downtown. The party for that was even free, you could easily spend $700-$1000 on just a hotel room |

Some people like that cushy I do the same every year because that's all I've ever cared to budget for. Moms cutting back on allowance? |

| Someone in Detroit traded their house for an iPhone 6. For a guy pulling the "i'm in school" card, you sure are retarded. |

Dude, you ever heard of splitting costs?
That's what people who aren't rich but want to travel and do cool things do to make it possible. It's called being resourceful.
You should try it. |

Heh. Yes. Also out of my peer group I'm the only one still partying. Everyone else has kids now, except Jake, and he is far away, so splitting costs isn't really an option (anymore, we've split costs on stuff in the past when he was living in Seattle). |
