I am going to say Bulgaria. Lovely climate, friendly beautiful people and varying nature. The economy is probably better than what most people in this world is living under as well.

I used to think Holland was the bomb, but after being there this summer I had my views changed. Most dutch I met was somewhat reserved - the famous dutch tolerance seemed to spring from a "do what you want as long as you do not bother me"-attitude than a "I think that it is cool you're so special"-mentality.

Looking at things from a political freedom and material wealth perspective Denmark would be a winner as well, but people are just sooo conservative here, so it's kind of a bore.

Germans seem nice as well, and they have great club-culture!

These are just examples. There are over 100 nationalities in Amsterdam alone. In fact, there is a large Italian, Spanish, Argentine, Brasilian, Turkish, Maroccan and Surinam community.

hhmmm... sounds good

Ronaldo and Romario only "survived" the cold climate because they could party in Amsterdam with other people from the Copa Cobana :)

hhmmm... sounds better

(did you mean Copacabana beach or there's a club actually called Copa Cobana? :))

Dutch are a trading people since 1300. We don't care about race as long as we can do some business.

Woot!? A place with no xenophoby, gorgeous blondes and Armin Van Buuren as a local DJ? :D

Nederlands, hier ik go! :) (I don't know how to say "go" in Dutch :p)

Kidding, I've been to Netherlands when I was 7 years old, and I found it a very interesting place (as far as I remember :toothless), but I'll just stick here for a while. But who knows in the future ;)

I don't know why, but all the Danes I've met were so cold... :p I guess the only girl who talked to me properly only decided to have a conversation when she found out I know about "Aqua" and their "Barbie girl" tune :D

Ps.: it sucks not to be able to edit posts, I could've just have added this to my last post instead of double posting

Yeah Rio beach, not a club :)

I know two guys from Rio who stayed here for a month. They cried at the airport, didn't wanna go home. All these coffeeshops with weed, Red Light District, clubs, parties, women :D

I still don't get it! The beaches of Brasil are full of beautiful women (not counting the transsexuals), the weather is warm etc etc.
Still they didn't want to leave, even although it was winter :)

all i know is that germany sucks!!

Canada :)

although, my opinion don't mean much, because i have barely been out of canada, went about 50 km over the border into the US once.

but, all in all, canada is a pretty great place to live. The best part is our healthcare which is slowly being demolished by the govt though, soon we will have an american style system.

Canada isn't that bad a place, however Its economy is currently suffering greatly because of lack of families. Believe it or not, we need MORE immigrants. The immigrational aspect of Canadian living is a whole other story, but you should be glad you didn't have to fo through that ;).

Myself, being Russian, I will say a few words regarding my country :p.
Although the gov't is completely unorganized and corrupted, the economy...what economy?...and your safety is greatly comprimised whether you're outside walking or in your car, the good thing about all that is this: if you have money, the amount of doors that open for you is unimaginable:eyes:.

But, since for now I don't have that amount of money, and have only been to two countries in the world, my place of choice is Canada:D

We've got a thing for snow :D And Dutch women  Froukje de Both and Roos van Acker (though she's from Belgium) are drop dead gorgeous :p

Anyway, though it will sound strange for you guys, Rio would be one of the last cities I'd ever live in. It's a good place to visit (specially if you're a foreigner), but there are better cities.

Maaz brief gide of Brazilian cities :D

Rio: known as "cidade maravilhosa (wonderful city"), it's got problems like any other big city, but it's a good place for travellers. The landscape is amazing.

Sao Paulo: The Brazilian "New York". A huge city that, despite of its problems, is a good place. Many many interesting things there.

Brasilia: Except for me, everything here is a bit weird :D A wonderful place to visit if you like architecture, politics and history (though the city is 40 years old). And it's safer than Rio and SP ;)

Smaller cities that are worth visiting as well: Salvador (Brazilian Africa), Ouro Preto (historical city), Florianopolis (kicks arse!!!!), Joinville and Blumenau (unless you're German, otherwise you'll just feel at home :)), Porto Alegre, Curitiba and many others. If you want to visit Brazil PM me and I'll give some more tips ;)

There is no "best country to live in" because it differs from person to person - it depends what exatcly you're looking for. Personally, I don't think I could really be satisfied with any country in the world. Canada's goverment wouldn't be bad, but I'm a warm-weather kind of person so the climate really makes it out of the question.

I don't really mind living in the US, other than the fact that our goverment is effectively a theocracy. I can't really judge anywhere else, because until you've actually experienced living somewhere, it's hard to guage exactly how much you'd enjoy it.

the uk sucks, i'll explain more when i wake up and can type a lot but i still wish the world could be like a whole 'sim city' thing where if u dont like it u can demolish it he-he-he or set a monkey on it or just be happy there and legalize gambling :p

expect a more intelligent response when i wake up :)

well i can only speak of maybe 4 countries or so...but i choose, naturally, USA just cos this is where i live now. i have a plethora of opportunities on a silver plate in front of me, and things just seem to balance each other out here. i dunno,..i dont mind the USA. wouldnt mind experiencing living in some European counties such as the Scandinavian countries, as well as Holland/UK/Eire/Germany
