What's the best country to live in? (pg. 6)

WEll I've only been to Mexico and Canada, so I can't really form a broad opinion. Mexico is of course very poor in most parts, and their currency is worth next to nothing compared to the US dollar. Many come here to earn 4-6 times as much as they could in their own country.

The main downfall of the US is the influence of the Christian conservatives who are really no better than the radical islamic leaders in countries like Iran. Pig headed morons like Fallwell hide behind the word "god" to spew their hatred of gays/ minorities etc.
Their influence sadly taints much governmental policy, and leads to things like the "war on drugs" and not being able to say "" on the radio or network television. Luckily the US supreme court and 9th circuit courts seem above this, if not the current simion in chief...

Someone mentioned San Francisco...this is perhaps the best US city to live it...beautiful in every sense. You have to be quite wealthy though. It's the most expensive place to live in the USA. They are prone to earthquakes in that region, but where I live we are prone to tornadoes. In the Northeast there are severe snowstorms (CAnada gets ed worse though). Pick your poison.

No wonder Amsterdam has recently been named one of the 4 least friendly cities in the world.

And yes, Holland is a bit overrated. Regarding Trance: You won't find many Trance CD's in your regular Dutch music store! Not at all! And many Dutch people hate trance!

Sorry I had to disillusion y'all.

I also don't like the UK because of the people there who are extremely cynical, unfriendly, sarcastic, and frigid. (One need only look at our UKTAs.)

Ah come on!
I've been to Holland twice and always had this special feeling inside. As opposed to what you say I've met so many nice ppl there, it was unbelievable. Me and my mate just got off the train, checking the map, as we were immediately approached by a (beautiful :)) Dutch girl asking if she can help. And it continued the same way, whereever we went actually. I especially remember this little group (4 boys, 3 girls) who saw us a bit bored in some club and spontaneously bought us drinks and spent the rest of the night with us. Been also approached by some hot slut and a friendly gay guy :p Was all easy-going, plus I ing loved the open-mindedness and the great shops (clothing and music) and those huge second hand book-stores where I spend 4 hours reading through books.

2 months ago, when I was in Arnhem, I was reminded of how much I loved it....The same smell of that one perfume all girls seem to wear, same friendly people, and the way clubbing girls pass you: here in Austria they're pushing you away, in Holland they smotthly pass and stroke your shoulder, really! :eyes: Just something I noticed.

It's also pretty weird to judge an entire people by a few forum-members that post here, don't you think? BTw. I like the British humor quite a lot.
Definitely wanna go to Tokyo, Moscva and NYC one. But I also know that at the end of the day I wanna go back to my "roots", my spiritual home and that is Israel. Whenever I'm there I get this feeling that this is where I belong.

:haha:

true. Sorta limited here.

Eugene, here's a suggestion. Go to Antarctica, and establish "Camp Eugene" on some secluded far-away ice-shelf. In the meantime, I'll be on the moon.:happy2:

Ok ... here's the game plan. Everybody go somewhere else in this solar system and I'll hold the fort.

Well since none of you would have oxygen, I would tend to agree. At any rate if I was dictator over myself my first order of business would be to open teen nudie camps.

Edit: And make a commemorative plague in Eugene's name for dreaming the dream to make it all possible :tongue3
