I like France (Métropole + French Guyana, Tahiti, Martinique, Nouvelle Calédonie, Bora-Bora, Réunion Island, Guadeloupe, Mayotte, French Polynesia...) because there are thousands of different landscapes, peoples, traditions...
Also, i want to visit USA, Greece and Israel.
USA, for the landscapes, desert, cities...
Greece for mythology.
Israel (when the peace success), because i think that israeli girl are beautiful !:eyespop: |

USA has evolved as far as it will go; it is the only remaining superpower. Some believe China will take its place in the next 1/2 century, so tough noogies. |

What the hell? Dude, i think you have to tone down your views. Agreed, the USA will become better with technology and time, but don't expect much more. Especially with a guy like Dubya running things. |

I have travelled quite a bit, and most people will speak fondly of their own country. But I really do think that Canada is a great place, especially places like Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, because, essentially these cities (especially Toronto) are a microcosm of the world. The best of the countries of this world rolled into one city (there are some bads, too, but the goods outweigh the bads). Besides, what other city than Toronto can you find such a tolerant and diverse group of people?! I went to the Pride parade (musical heaven! :gsmile:) and it was just so full of all kinds of people, but more importantly it is a testament to the tolerant and accepting attitude of the city.
Where else can you have a cappuccino and Vietnamese food in an Indian restaurant that is owned by a Jew, be served by a Chinese waiter, have the crowd around you be Arab yet speaking French, and be watching hockey and cheering on Anson Carter, who is of African descent, as he wins gold for Canada in the world hockey championships, in an area that is known as "Little Italy", and think that this is all normal?!
Check out these statistics for the multicultural composition of Toronto: http://www12.statcan.ca/english/cen...mm/subprovs.cfm
Roughly 50% of Toronto's population are visible minorities, yet there is no rampant racism (although it exists in subtler forms). Moreover, most people in Toronto are immersing themselves in multiculturalism. I have found that the Europeans tend to be very unfriendly to visible minorities. The same goes for Asian countries, which never fully accept outsiders.
