The year is 2023 - the c0r loyal are still here - it is a Friday!

What say YOU this weekend?

I'm off to some comedy tonight and later some Techno.

Also wtf! Y'all lazy and didn't start this thread sooner!:whip:

We are fizzling out!

Nothing crazy here. Work. Ski. Kid's in ski lessons. Caesar Sunday. Lol.

I've been away for a while because I'm happier than a kitten raised in a sushi bar now that it's winter in Korea, and I love every second here.

Sure, thanks to global warming the weather has been all over the place in the last few weeks, so the snow has melted and then replaced twice over already. Hell, there was a week I got away with dressing pretty much as I would back home, and that's unthinkable. Anyway, I've also been reminded that low temperatures do not equal heavy snowfall, so although it's usually colder here than in Toronto or Warsaw overall, my crunchy wet dream of waking up to a snow wall surrounding my bedroom windows has yet to become true.

I've had to postpone snowboarding and iceskating a bit due to work, but it's definitely on my plans for February, as I'll be home after that anyway. I just hope there won't be another unwelcome heatwave.

Every time I thought about making a new one, it was like a Tuesday or something :p

Just some off-season training to prepare for the season. Lots of time in the gym. Also wrestling with 2 crazy toddlers every day. The cycling team that I was on folded due to mismanagement, so I've been starting a new one with the club I train at. Coordinating with different sponsors and getting some new kits created. This year I plan on doing 3 Ironman 70.3 events, amongst a few other races. Should be a busy season!

There is a good chance I'll be there for Nooga 70.3. I have 2 athletes I coach racing. I should look into booking a place...

Anyone aside from Lira partake in winter sports like skiing or snowboarding?

Got an insane cold spell here and a MASSIVE dumping of snow...gonna make for GREAT ski conditions this weekend!!

And along with hitting the slopes we're having friends over for our yearly Christmas get together. We couldn't make December work. :o

So... The resident Brazilian is the only other person snowboarding this month?
