have u ever met an American? If you're referring to the Gov't, then fine, say it...but saying "Americans" seems to me like you're generalizing and including all Americans in that statement. It's Canadians like you that are the problem with this country. Canada is a multicultural nation. Having pride for this country is fine. I'm proud of living here, and will call myself a Canadian as much as I would call myself a Pole. Canada is my country just as much as Poland is; both of them are my equal homes. But for you to bash someone simply because they have love and pride for their country of birth is plain pathetic. I think I'll consider myself Polish this time, cause I don't wanna be Canadian beside you... :-\:-\ |

I didnt say all muslims hate all muslims. What I said is that, it generally seems to me that those that are saying all muslims should unite and fight USA and the evil west and in fact generally seem to be the haters. They hate christians (like myself) and jewish people. |

Just like they are in Afghanistan....?
IF the U.S. does a thorough job of nation-building, and not just imposing a puppet. It takes a long time for democracy and civil society to emerge, otherwise ambitious people can hijack it. (The folks who say, and practise the "One man, one vote, one time" principle. |

lemme point out a fact....
Iraq aka Babylonia (or whatever its previous name) has always been under a monarchy since the dawn of civilization. all the countries around it that have existed for so long are all under monarchies... just because the US cant deal with those countries, and want to control them somehow (by putting in their puppet which is undeniable and by rebuilding what they destroyed to make it look like they are oh so generous and make the iraqi people think that a favour was done for them and leave them in debt to the US forever)they impose a war.
now the people arent used to a democracy and the only thing that will change is the fact that the leader is selected by the people..about the women being covered etc. which several of u fail to understand, that will not change cos thats a part of their religion...
there is no proof that afghanistan is in absolute stability right now....its as chaotic as when the taliban was there minus the killings |
