It’s 8:00am, hit this party sober and this is all I got to say .... Dillinja and Lemon D destoryed the Orange Room !!! THE VIBE WAS AMAZING !!! It true they can't mix at all, but the tracks they dropped were ing unreal !!! From the tunes we all know (every single favorite tune of mine was spun) to all the NEW dubplates and remixes blown me away !!! (Does anyone know the track Dillinja dropped at 3:30am ??? That was the most DIRTIES,GRIMEST and DARKEST I have ever heard !!!) Every track these two BODMON threw down did not dissapoint. Glad to see the rewinds were not out of hand tonight. The BASS was ing retardly LOUD and DEEEEEEEEP, my ears were ringing but, it was GOOD !!! I never danced that hard and long in life !!! Thanks to those who made room for me to dance, when it was possible !!! I had so much energy and adrenaline pumpin’ through my body, I was bitting and crunching my teeth and bouncing insanely fast !!! MC L Natural and Caddy Cad preformed amazingly tonight !!! Lush and Mystical Influence were kicking ass !!!
Near the end of the night, met Dillinja !!! That guy was sooo drunk, he has earned the title of the world’s biggest joker. Too bad nobody had a marker ... I wanted his autograph.
The Kool Haus was a little tooo packed for me, so I went back into the jungle room for the rest of the night! Did heard a few great tracks AvB threw down and the crowd was excited !!! While I was leaving, AvB spun PvD’s - For an Angel :)
THE BAD
-Not my type of crowd in the GUV and KH, you know what I mean if you were there.
-Guv’s coat check took about 50 mins
Massive respect goes to Peter & crew, Bernard, Edmon, Joe !!!
Massive respects to the TA crew, Desidel, Endless Wave, Time2Burn, Malice, LiquidChick and the rest I forgot !!! Honest to GOD, it was indeed a ING KICK ASS TIME to party with you guys in the jungle room and we must do it again !!!
I hope you guys had fun in the Kool Haus !!!
PS. It was funny to see all the FUN BOYS hold their ears when they walked through the Jungle Room !!! |

guv was full of half naked bum bum boys.
i don't have a problem with people's sexual preference but a lot of what I saw was a joke. I don't give a if you're making out with your beef jerky boyfriend, but .. what's not cool is getting your ass grabbed by a muscle man.:whip::whip:
Never the less had a great time in the kool house.
Armin never lets me down.
One thing I thought at this party was "thank god for women":p |

Well I would have to say that was one of the best parties I ever attended. I was going in there expecting Steve Lawler to spin some boring prog houde which I have on a lot of his sets. It wasn't boring in the least bit. It was very hard progressive and just had me moving the whole set. Now on to the man : Armin Van Buuren. I've always heard good thing about Armin and then when I saw him at Sonic State about a year and a half ago I didn't think he was all that great. Well over the last and a half I've bought and burnt many of Armin's cds and thought they were just amazing. So I set my hopes pretty high last night and man did he not disappoint. He played a ton new trance which was very uplifting mixed a couple classics. I would to saw the the preformer I've ever seen behind the decks. Better than Oakenfold, Tiesto, Sasha. and Digweed. He was just pumping the crowd all set long. Well I could write a lot better I'm really tired.

I'm torontotrncelvr's buddy and I wanted to post a review for my first experience with AVB and first time being high. Oh My God - I just had the greatest night of my life! You see, this is really not my scene - I'm usually in bed long before AVB would start spinning!
But, through much persistence, torontotrncelvr convinced me to try this kind of party. I'm so glad he made me go. Words can't begin to desribe what I felt tonight and what I'm feeling right now. As I sit here and bop my head to more AVB on his computer - I just want to say thank you to torontotrncelvr for exposing me to the most amazing time I ever had. Love you man!
I just hope I can remember those two girls' numbers ;)
Shout outs to sooper, hansolo, paco!

Ferry's still the best set I have heard in Toronto.
Armin was good, perhaps a little too floaty for my tastes. But that's my problem -the crowd ate it up.

This is the first year the party has been promoted as a "straight" event - usually it's just a circuit party....and considering it's Guv, you really should have expected that. |

GOOD PARTY
At first I wasnt looking forward to the long wait till 4am for Armin, seeing as how I got there at 11pm. But all the rooms were open, and i've never checked them out before. what can i say about the orange room?????? ENERGY!!!!!!
ya, you are all burnout and tired coming from listening to Lawler or whover was spinning before Armin, and you walk into the orange room and the jungle music kicks your ass! you are automatically recharged and start moving to the drum and bass. so this was all good up until about 3:30am. Then it was time to get into the KH for armin. Armin came on at 4am, started the set with As the Rush Comes!!! He then continued to drop TUNE after TUNE after TUNE. OMG this guy is amazing. He had the crowd going SOOO much. He's a performer on the decks. He smiles more than Tiesto and was even better than Dekoze for getting the clubbers jumping. Two to three hours of tunage, and then Armin sees that the club is getting a little tired. So he drops banging tunes to get everyone going. Then he finished off with Communication!!!!! AND he played like 15 minutes longer than they wanted him to.
The best part is....
We're dancing infront of armin's setup and talking to some pretty cool guys. The one guy writes on a Excel gum box, "Armin, can i have an autographed record?" He tosses it up to armin, armin reads it and just points at the guy and nods. Then he reaches in the back and grabs Yet Another Day, and he signs it and drops it down to the guy!!! Armin cares about his crowd. He gave out like 3 others and then ran out. and anyone could go and talk to Armin, he didnt mind being bothered.
So in conclusion, WICKED PARTY
only negatives were all the gay guys. when i first got there, it was all guys. gay guys. |

wow great party
never stayed that long before (6:30)
spent most of the time at the kool haus. great music, vibe, ladies etc.. music at guv. was good, but we n't stay there much because of the massive gay sausage fest, never seen so many gays at a club before. I have nothing agiants them, but there were so mnay my brain couldn't comprehend.
we spent about 30-40 mins at orage room. jungle was insane :eek:. never listened to jungle before. it was like being on an old traktor.
I think my brain needed defrag after jungle room.
over all 10/10 night
lawler 8/10
avb 9/10
orange room 9/10 (interesting experience)
guv. 2/10
ladies 10/10, so many friendly pretty ones, they would even hit on you ;) |
