I only read few pages, so sorry if i didnt see that you said it. When i said 'get laid' i dont necessarily mean have sex. What i meant is find a chick that won't screw you over. |

Seems to me that pure s would have the upper hand in that department, since they have the law of averages working in their favour, no?

For the record by my post I was in no way defending any one person's opinions or criticizing anybody's right to post their thoughts. I was simply trying to keep personal issues personal, and no, I didn't read through much of the thread so I was misinformed directing the comment at one person. The issue has been discussed and resolved through PM so I hope we can move on.
Furthermore - to everyone, personal = PM, public = stupid +0 post pads in COR.

and i used to do something like this...when you're convinced you're right, whenever someone argues against you you just think on disproving them without actually seriously considering what they say |

Hey that's a little unfair, don't you think?
I never even denied that being positive, confident, etc., always "works" - in fact I think I've posted that exact same thing myself multiple times - the point I've been trying to make (and Orbax) is that it may work to get laid, but when we show that we're not interested in just a fling, people back off.
I never said that mto guy was wrong, or you, just that we have different values. We all know what we "should" do, some of us have even done it before - we just don't want to play those games and would prefer to hold out for someone who doesn't try to force us to.
Call it self-pity or holier-than-thou if you want, but none of us ever tried to put down anyone else's values. We just expect to have the right to our own. |

i used to like cocky jerks in high school, but i grew up and realized that being w/ someone who is genuine and intelligent is more what i am looking for.
My advice: don't look hard up. be kind and courteous but have a backbone...and you should be alright..also be patient... my current bf was single for 2 years before we hooked up, b/c he was looking for someone that he connected w/ and could have something long-term with. |

sometimes i wish i was mod, just for 10 minutes, then i'd ban half the people and we'd have no problems, just a strangely isolated forum until swamper and others would undo the damages.
