So much for that hotel room I thought I was gonna get... but I couldn't imagine doing it any other way.
Dallas, Tommy & I arrived around 5 am Sat. and were greeted by RyanM & time2burn at the gate, which made finding the TA campsite quick and painless. Ryan had a tent set up for us already- he's da man! Met lotsa new TA's, and the banner we had hanging on Carlos's van attracted lotsa new faces. Spent a long time hanging at the site, and eventualy went to the venue to check out the rooms, which were practically vacant and still well over 40 C. I felt really bad for all the dj's playing during the day, as the crowd size varied from 2-30 people, max. A lot of $ and talent wasted right there. Rooms consisted of the main room, the lounge, the squash court (psytrance room, dark and way too hot), a room w/a pool that had been filled in w/sand (hardcore room), and a kitchen (Tribe arena). Caught Darryl Hicks in the Tribe kitchen (which really was the best room in terms of temperature) and was really impressed. This guy is from Mississauga, plays in the Buffalo area all the time, and Sat morning was his 1st Canadian/ Toronto (?) gig! His gf gave me a promo cd which is really good. Then caught DJ Random, whom we'd met earlier at the beach. Ran in & caught DJ Fuzion's set when I heard "The Beauty of Silence" coming out the window. Aside from that, I felt like I was 'watching' BPM TV reruns, without the visuals- tracklist was just like the show, lol.
Spent rest of the day hanging at our spot, waiting for Chad & Aine ('Ohn-ye') to arrive w/the booze, and being tormented by a neighboring campsites with crappy taste in music. Earlier, 1 group of rockers nearby were blaring the classic rock a la AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Stones... Brutal! Then there was the group in the other direction, insistant on playing Benny B's "Satisfaction", Tomcraft's "Loneliness", and 2 other crappy tunes in that exact order over & over & over... every 15 mins. Eventually tuned them out when I managed to move my car in closer and blared the car's stereo to the tunes of the latest Gatecrasher Residencies cd. Ryan finally got the grill going after nearly choking us to death on lighter fluid fumes and smoke. Then, back to some music- caught the last track by Kenny Glasgow, and then Hatiras's set, which was rocking. Glad I finally caught a set by this guy. After that, things get a little fuzzy. I haven't been that fackered up in a LONG time. Long gaps of time are permanently missing from my memory.:eyespop: Talk about a space case! At some point we noticed our remaining beer had been stolen, but we just shrugged it off. Shoulda locked it in the car, but if that's all that was stolen, we got off easy.
Then back to the venue for some tunes. Snuck into the building thru a back door (thanks Iris!) and made it in without the 1+ hr lineup in front. Caught all of Cor Fijneman, BT and Orkidea's sets, and u can only imagine how hot that main room was, having just had a few hours of junglists packed in that room beforehand. DJ Rap did not want to end her set on time, and it seemed to annoy Cor quite a bit, and then to make it worse, the MC introduced him as BT!! What a faux pas! You shoulda seen the look on his and Itikia's faces..... the mistake was quickly corrected. Cor rocked it! That remix of "Beautiful Things" was by Proton -?-. Ray (Gamma) went to our cars to grab our camcorders, which would not operate in that room w/all the humidity! :whip: I shoulda known. Cor came down and talked in length w/the fans & posed for pics during BT's set. < Class act. Was surpirized BT actually got all his gear plugged in in time for his set- I was certain they'd have to let Orkidea go on 1st. BT played his laptop symphony, which was chock full of grunge & brit-pop remixes, and lots of energy. I meant to ask him where he got those pants Provitex (?) was asking about, but I didn't even see BT leave the stage somehow, considering I was standing at the foot of the steps. Orkidea played a great set- even tho it was much shorter than the 4-hr gig at Afterlife, I preferred this set, cuz it was the Orkidea the way I like him: full of songs I can't ID. For a moment, I thought he was opening his set w/a remix of "Satisfaction", and I was about to lose it. LOL! Caught a little bit of Chris Liberator, & then we went down to the Tribe room to catch Mike Schryer's 1st set in public. He had a great time slot and it was longer than everyone else who played there (2 hrs). He was bangin' out the hard acid trance! We didnt want to make him nervous, so we didn't tell him Cor & Orkidea were popping by to check him out, but I took pics of him spinning w/them in the background. Then I left w/the TR and dj's in tow, and took them to our campsite, where they all signed our banner. :) Then back for more Schryer, and then time for Lost Witness. OMG I really liked this guy. I was expecting a live PA, but it was a DJ set, and a really good one. (I'd like to know your thoughts on the guy) By this point exhaustion was catching up to me, and I was falling asleep standing up on the dance floor. I know I worried lotsa people around me, but what do u expect after having been up for 72 hrs straight, with only a 1.25 hour nap Fri morning during that stretch? This was a rare opportunity I'm glad I experienced, even if I couldn't move or stay awake the entire time. Went onto the patio for some air, and caught a 15-20 min snooze, and caught the last of Lost Witness. back to the tent for a snack and a much needed nap, and woke up 3.5 hrs later to an emptied campground surrounded by lots of trash (this is NOT how Om festival looks like at the end of the weekend!). Staying awake the whole ride home was quite the challenge, but somehow I did it.
TA's who camped together: Time2Burn, ryanm, sober_24_7, mobius, lil_kandi_angel, gamma, DJ Ampz, GT Trance, Wurm, Phunky1, DeE420, 404 Science, DJ Hordash, pixiechick, myself, and all our friends (Dallas, Tommy, Chad, Aine, Steve, Kevin, Nadia, Oliver, Julia, James, and probably some more). Others who hung out at the site: jenna rae, schryer, elmo-on-xtc, boy trance, charmscars, ryanmarcus, Tim (cant remember your screen name) & Arcticboy. Other TA's I saw: Swamper, Itikia, finary, Dr.Z, Nrg2Infinit, OS/2, Fuzion & Walter Mindz. If I missed your name somewhere, I apologize.
Shout outs:
Ryan- thanks for the tents, for being the boyscout that u are, for cooking dinner, and for putting me to bed when it needed doing. Chocolate salmonella water, anyone?
Dallas- can we overpack or what?! Thankx for being the bestest roomie ever.
Chad & Aine- for bringing us booze and experiencing a night of trance(FYI, these 2 are deep house heads & Chad disses trance all the time, so even tho they were wasted, they did get out and dance to Cor's set & I have to pictures to prove it, and went to support Mike during his. Aine is gonna sign up now after having such a fun time w/us all)
DeE420 & 404 Science- was nice meeting u guys, glad u had a lot of fun ;)
Wurm- I love your cop/candy raver uniforms, and your commentary on our banner ("Worst WEMF ever") lol!
Mirza- u gotta patent whatever concoction you're putting in your hair. He slept for hours and his tall hair spikes didn't even budge!

Erica- for all the hugs and love u show me every time I see you.
Jenna & Mike- thanx for the potitive vibe u bring every time, the cd, the vitamins, and for playing a great set.
Rich- for providing a ride to Ryan, having never met him. I forgot to loan u my new light toys- next time, ok?
Carlos & Corrine- for bringing Az, Kevin & Steve up- a party isn't the same w/out any of u.
Az & Ray- u guys are the best from the west. -muah-
Tim- where'd ya go?

ohhh man, just woke up, and I feel like death...
overall WEMF was an awsome party! had a blast, and it was nice meeting the TA's I met, you guys are the shiznit!
Fijnman was amazing he played great tunes, so was BT, he had some kickin bass lines. The only bad part really was that damn line up there was to get to the main room during the jungle, I never touched so many people at one time, and there were two guys making a drug deal behind me and I was just cracking up. Once the jungle ended all the junglists left so they left a lot of room for us trance heads. :tongue2
Also, I feel sorry for the people who have to clean that place up. Its gonna take them at least a year to finish.
Anywho, I still feel like going back to bed, so ya! good times! and keep it real! |

1st off- apologies to Trigger, whom I'd forgotten to say was there too.
2nd- whoever took those pics of me passed out during Lost Witness really needs to learn how to take a picture. I JUST saw these when I went to download the images, but I can hardly tell what's going on in them- looks like Az is rubbing his ass on my head tho. LMAO!
3rd- the cornrows are gone now- just got too frizzy over the weekend
4th- no I haven't gone to bed yet, but I will now. |

Seriously, I'm so ing dissapointed............................................................................NOT because of WEMF, but of the fact that I didn't get to camp with you TA people... I know I'm being a little pushy here BUT I couldn't even find you people, so me, dj chrono, slag, o0moonman0o, mumbo joe were camping together along the area where the (tepee) was at and not too far away from the big truck that wouldn't stop playing music *with people trying to MC. (NEVER got sleep on Saturday night..but then again, didn't need any!) anyway, that crowd of people were lots of fun and we enjoyed our stay with all of them... NEXT>>
WTF IS UP WITH THAT SHUTTLE BUS? First I get sold the wrong ticket (instead of 12--I get 2) and we didnt' even get to go on that (2pm) bus...had to wait for the 4:00pm...geez, and that ride took like 3 hours or so... as hell... Not to mention every single person on that bus smoking up whatever the hell they were smoking. (I don't smoke) and anyways...

Awww! So nice of you!! Yeah, I don't know if you were all there people at the BT set but I was the one *CENTER* front of the stage that got my towel flipping all the time...didn't stop clapping...got on the shoulder's of moonman&slag and took pictures of everyone! lol!!
So crazy, obviously BT was my fav part of the whole thing!! I just waited for him after and got a pic with him **will post later** like always, he was very cool!! Oh, I also was the one who yelled out "BRIAN!! I WANT TO HAVE YOUR CHILDREN!!" lmao!!! I think I freaked him out on that one..but he was laughing!!
That fact that there were long line-ups on saturday got me worried...I was gonna tear up because I thought I wouldn't get to see BT ..BUT!! I actually got in there even before DJ Rap's set which excited me greatly ;) :D
I stayed in the front row from that guy before DJ RAP (forgot his name) until the end of BT's set... it was crazy..I almost ing fainted and just... was gonna die!!!! I didn't get a break and my water was so warm...ew! after seeing BT and all..I was happy..yet, I must say it was ING BORING camping out and just trying* to relax with just the people I did camp with... It was a shame we couldn't find you guys but whatever...
i got ing summer school tomorrow...
aha..i'm dead.. gonna fail the exam.. was it worth it? it could have been..........geez if it wasn't for BT I would have just killed myself!
PS> The only TA's I saw were Swamper (I called out his name on the Cor set! he was standing there all cool  !) and someone of you people who put a TA sign on the 2pm bus... |

I don't even know where to start lol
I'm gonna make it short cuz I'm way to tired to write everything down lol
We got up there around 7pm and the swat team freaked us out a lil bit lol we didn't think there was gonna be that many cops there hahaha (not like we had anything to hide lol)
My friends got there around 12pm so they got a really good spot and saved us room.... So that's were we set up the TA CAMPSITE hehe I'm so glad we all got a chance to be together.
The first night was alright.. Was a lil disappointed that the rooms were soooooooooooooooo hot. But there wasn't much they could do. St Pete was amazing as usual :) to bad they kicked him off early.. I don't know what was up with that.
Sat night was amazing... i had so much fun.. we waited in line for a bit and got in and watched Cor and some of BT but headed back to the tent to get some rev's and water... when we were walking back a security guard told Gamma how we can sneak in... lol we didn't have to wait in the line and it took us a minute to get in lol The stairs at the front lead you to where the staff sleep and you go through the door and it leads you behind the dj booth i think in lounge area...
We watched Orkidea and he was amazing... and such a friendly guy too... took some pics with him and then we headed off to watch Mike in the tribe room :) He did a great job but too bad i was so tired and almost fell asleep standing up lol
All in all the experience was great and i enjoyed hanging out with the regulars and meeting new faces. Thanks guys for the great time.
Oh and Provitex I saw you in the lounge room but was to shy to say anything... you were right behind me and Jenna lol.... then when i was gonna say something you were already gone...
Sorry!@!@ |

Me and 404 Science got there on saturday at noon, managed to find the TA's after what seemed like hours of driving around endless campsites, and pitched our tent in a little tiny space inbetween two other tents.
We were not even sober for five minutes when we got out of Amira's car. We smoked a joint while setting up our tent, then as soon as our tent was up, we each ate a half quarter of mushrooms.....BAD IDEA!! at first anyways. They started to hit me as soon as i walked into the main room. There were hardly any people in there, maybe about 15, some were dancing, most were looking around.
Their music was so hard, and the shroomies triggered. I went to the bathroom, and when i came out, i realized that me and brian were both insanely ed. we needed to walk, but walking around made our trip even more intense because of the interesting atmosphere. SO many ravers! we decided that we needed to go to our tent and chill out, we weren't feeling all that good. However, we made a quick stop on the way back (btw, tatgirl, thnx 4 the stars ;)) when we got to the tent, all we did was sit back, and TRIP. for about an hour, we didn't say one word, we just lay there, staring at the top of our tent. Then, we got this feeling of complete bliss. Coming down off them was tough, tho. At about 8:45, we walked to the raves and we popped our first pill at 10. (we were kinda pissed off when we went outside to pop them, and had to wait for an hour to get back in.) We started dancing, but i couldn't feel the pill. It had been about an hour. After a while more, we walked down stairs to check out the psytrance and tribe rooms. We spent a while down there, and were even MORE pissed when they refused to let us back up.:whip: so we walked to the line up, and checked out all the tents before getting in line. I met these 2 guys, who i never saw again, and asked them if they knew of a better pill. They sold me 2 white rhinos.
I literally bought the pills, and walked into the line up, when ZANG, the pill i was waiting for kicked in FULL throttle, same with Brian. We then sat and danced for the full 45 minutes that we were in line. We were the only ones dancing in the line up. I met a lot of really cool people in that line up, and i can't even remember all their names! I was so happy and full of energy. and the best part is we got in RIGHT before Cor started. HE WAS MY FAVOURITE PART OF THE NIGHT! I actually got GOOSEBUMPS, when he played as the rush comes. goosebumps in a hot rave where i'm pouring sweat. I was amazed at how much energy i had. next came BT, and he was awesome as well. they were my 2 fav dj's. just dancing, tripping and feeding off the energy of everyone else. I was pouring sweat, and my feet were aching, and i didn't give a . It was the best feeling i've ever had.
We popped the rhino's at about 3, and that trip came on strong and sweet. It fulfilled my energy, and gave me rushes, but i liked the happiness that i had gotten with the other pill a lot better. I was pretty sketchy when i came down, and i chewed right THROUGH a soother. My gums are aching as i type.
anywho, yeah, i loved it, i can't wait till next year. So many cool people and a great time.
WEMF RULED!!!! :p :toocool: |

^^^^dude, this is NOT pillreports.com. i'm glad you had a good time, but it makes some ppl antsy to hear such indepth reports on drug use rather than music and venue. i personally don't have a problem hearing about it but if you could be a little more subtle about it i think it would be appreciated:)

| Heh.. for everyone waiting in line.. you could have walked through downstairs pass the psy trance room, opened the door at the end of the hall, went up a flight of stairs and into the jungle room. the real party though was outside, where it wasnt a sauna. |
