But Alex, who was that dapper gentleman who was taking pictures of you guys while you were playing? And aren't you worried that your girlfriends and sisters might run off with him?

LOL! :haha: :haha: ;)
Let's see some of those pictures then!
(If you've got no where to upload them, at least email them to me.)

omg i dont feel like writing alot so ill keep it short.
my first wemf, and first rave. pretty crazy, almost exactly what my friends told me.

BT was in crazy, and DJ RAP was just tearin it up and destroyed the main stage. cor was awesome, althogh when he started spinnin, that was when all the junggle dudes left. (i dont understand why trancers and junnglists cant just get along...) i was with provitex, chrono, moonman, and slag...we got on ty bus, blah. then we couldnt find the ta site. it wouldve made things alot better. everyone was there was high and on drugs and drunk etc etc...i didnt mind. got no sleep.

saturday night i was there with provitex for like 5 hours from the beginning of raps set all the way to end of bts. holy in , my legs felt like they were snap like twigs at any moment. my body was just destroyed from all the dancing and it was like evryone already said, bloody in hot as hell! i met some really cool ppl, alot of ppl from the michigan and detroit. im just dissapointed we couldnt find the site.

im in a few pics, ill post em later after i do a lil editing in photoshop.... i slep for 16 hours when i got back home and right now i feel like i could go for another 10!

DJ Ampz!?
Really!?

! Dude, that guy was the funniest ever on the bus ride back!
If I am speaking of the right person, he should have been the one to sit behind the bus driver (no shirt) plus documenting the trip! lmao!
Crazy! It was nice to see you bro!

Interesting BT tidbit posted on the Tribe board:

"funniest part of the weekend....BT instead of taking his limo home stays at the party catching bugs for a while to make sure people didn't step on them, then instead of going home in the stretch job he stays in the Quality Inn in bellville and goes home with Matt pauls in a 4 door....Bt had his dog there too....lol. "

from 007:

"Don't be talking about my 1992 Mercury Topaz. It matches up just fine to the stretched limo that BT had.

Actually, I was quite nervous about driving him home. I was afraid he was going to freak out about it, considering there was 3 days worth of camping stuff for two people in the car, me, dustin (who takes up a fair bit of room), BT, his dog, and all his PA equipment.

All I have to say is this. I could have doubled him to the airport on my mountain bike and he would have had a blast. BT is hands down the nicest person I have ever met in my life. Extremely well educated, extremely politically active and never once did he treat me like he was better then me. For a ride home that could have been a horrible ride home if it had been certain drum and bass DJ's (see Tack One's review), he made the weekend for me. He loved WEMF and said if he ever comes back he is brining his tent instead.

As far as BT picking up the huge moths (and they were HUGE), when I asked him about it he said:

"I felt really sorry for them. They fly around the lights and get extremely confused because they think its the moon."

He kept picking them up and placing them on the generator so that none of them would get stepped on."

Great Review from the Tribe Boards...

I don't care how hot the rooms were, or the fact that there were no out door stages, or how there was glass etc.. all around..

to me WEMF has always been about getting back to basics.. getting dirty and letting go of all the stupid dumb ass things that we all complain about on a day to day basis.. ie ( my coffee isn't hot enough.. oh now it's to hot.. oh piff. I can't drink it anymore.. whine whine whine . )

for me WEMF could be held in a dumpster and I'd still come back HAPPY as all snot The funny thing here is that the wemf I didn't like most was the wemf that was over organized and ran perfectly.. yes that's right.

I like wemf because of the Chaos, getting dirty and the fight for a good time. It's the craziness that drove the rave spirit in the first place. the knowledge that at anytime the party could either be busted, ruined by weather or the power going off.. but none of that matters, cause to me. wemf has always been about weathering the storm! Nothing is fun unless you have to work for it and also get dirty in the process.. otherwise you'll spend the whole weekend worry about if your cloths look clean.. or if your hair is perfect.. etc..etc.. once your dirty! you let it all go and then you start to have a blast!

so.. in the end.. I LOVED WEMF. Plan B worked perfectly.. I loved dancing up a storm listening to DJ's and producers ripping it up in the main destiny room, then getting completely soaked in my own sweat, made me feel like I earned it.. then when I was to drenched. stepping out side for only a moment to recover then right back in to the steam room!

I think most of all though I enjoyed wondering all over the park, checking out where people were camped, then getting lost in tent city. In the process making many new friends and enriching the relationships with friends I already new. I hope WEMF never dies.. it's the only party in Ontario that actually brings all ravers and people alike together for a whole weekend without getting on each others nerves. it's pretty much the only true rave we have left.

So to rap up my review.. or statement.. I say

LOVE THE INSANITY!!

and

WEMF never say DIE!!!
