WHEEEEEEEE!!!! I GOT A PAYING JOB!! last night i went to a bar near me for a beer because i was tired of sitting around my apt and i have no problem going to a bar by myself. anyway, the bartender took a shine to me and we talked all night and he gave me lots of drinks. i told him i was looking for a job and he told me to come in today and whom to ask for and to bring a resume. serendipity, i start training tomorrow! and if i'm competent, i have a job :D seeing as i've waitressed for three years, i think i'll be ok.

I think it's great! :D I was chuckling the whole time. I'll post what I said in the PF here too. :p
If America truly holds the belief that Howard Dean should be President, I marvel at it’s intelligence level. Such behavior is not to be tolerated if his intentions are to arise to becoming the President of the United States. With the evident lack of discipline that Dean retains, it’s a phenomenon how he got to become a presidential aspirant. I trust citizens will take his asinine demeanor in mind when heading towards the election booth.
Gephardt quitting the presidential race came as somewhat of a surprise, I would have thought that Kerry would resign prior to Gephardt, but I suppose life is full of surprises. Gephardt’s opinions on various matters left me somewhat impartial to his platform; however, I did intensively fancy his slightly detrimental denunciations of his fellow democratic candidate Howard Dean. Since it is quite well known that I have a high disinclination towards Dean, I am only ailed at the concept of Dean’s prospect of gaining ground in his race for the Presidency with the withdrawal of Gephardt from the campaign.
Regardless, I think Dean made a fool of himself, and is probably kicking himself in the ass right now. :clown: |

of course, and as he should be. you should have seen the front page of the ny post on wednesday, it was priceless. it had a picture of dean with an apoplectic face and a headline that basically said he had lost his mind.
i've been thinking for a long time now that kerry is going to come up big and surprise everyone. i'd like to see clark inaugurated tomorrow, but i don't think he'll win the nomination. the time isn't right for the anti-politician. |

I'm rooting for Clark as always. Kerry is meh... alright I suppose. Better than Dean by far. But I think personally Kerry is too young to be heading into the Presidential elections. I think he needs more time to understand a few issues.
As long as Dean's out :D |

as mentioned in PF, i agree that kerry and edwards would make good VPs. i think edwards is definitely too young and inexperienced for the nomination although he shows promise. i think a VP slot would make him a strong contender in a future presidential election. |
