Wake up FLTA! (pg. 148)

good morning!! it's yucky here in new york :( freezing rain and other nastiness. thank god i have my pink boots! unfortunately, when i woke up this morning my lips were really chapped and i tore the corner of my mouth when i yawned :( ow.
i cleaned my shower this morning, which made me very happy :D i plan to clean the rest of my apartment today and go grocery shopping because i have no food!

NY? What part? I'm originally from NY. Richmond Hill, Queens. Freezing rain? Hail? Woooo, that sounds like fun. :p Chapped lips? Ouch, sounds painful. But, I think I know the solution for that.

1st half down 1 half to go,... you want to hear something ridiculous,... ok im in school right and we have homework almost everyday,... and like any regular school if you dont do your homework no biggie and life moves on,... ok so i decide to not do my homework last night b/c i just didnt feel like spending 3 hours on something that i already spent 10 hours on in class that day,... so this morning comes and no less than 4 people come up to me all concerned b/c they were like where is your homework??,... our homework officer (classmate) went through the pile to make sure everybody turned in their homework and word spread that i, oh my gosh, didnt do it,.... i was like freakin chill out, i forgot (they dont need to know the real reason, lack of motivation is a really tabu here in the Army),... **** it,.. what will they do kick me out??,... but ill probably have to meet with my teacher in some sort of meeting to discuss why i didnt do my ****ing homework,... i find it funny,... this sure isnt like college,... im not in kansas anymore toto,.. oh wait i am in Oklahoma though,.......:D

manhattan, murray hill neighborhood :D i just moved here about five weeks ago. ok, four weeks and six days ago :p it's actually not freezing rain, it's just rain so it's not too bad! pretty warm, comparatively. it's supposed to get up to 44 tomorrow!!! i'm hoping it'll bring people out to bar so i can make lots of money.
brent, i never did homework either! haahah, that's really funny that everyone was so worried about you. |

| Hmm, can't say I've ever heard of Murray Hill. Is that anywhere near Madison Square Garden, or the Empire Stte Building, The Chrysler building, anything like that? Do you use the subway or buses? Anyway, hope the weather doesnt affect your cash flow tonight/tomorrow. :) |

it's empire state building area. it's between 6th and 2nd avenues, between midtown and union square. i use the subway all the time, i love it, but i'm close enough to walk to both of my jobs. weather is supposed to be spectacular tomorrow, and by spectacular i mean 44 :/ oh well! how's stuff with you?
and are these shoot 'em up games similar to delta force? my brother and dad love that game. |

That's cool you near live enough to work to walk...save yorself, some what? $4 a day on transportation? I heard that tokens cost $2 each. Jesus, when I left NY, it was like $1.50, and I can also remember back in the day when it was just like $1. As for Counter-Strike, yes it's a First Person Shooter, I think it's like Delta Force, never played that one. Counter-Strike is played online and is intense and addicting. :p As for me, I just got home from the gym. Went well. Only thing with me is, when i was gettin out of my car, i hit my bad knee on my steering wheel, and i became paralyzed with pain. Other than that, I guess i'm ok. :) |

jane, where is that sig from? i wanna say "dazed and confused",...
ok so i have my confrontation with my teacher about the homework incident,... he says that i get a zero and still have to turn it in by 0800 in his box monday morning,... along with the more homework they gave us for this weekend,... also today im passed out like a light in class and then im awakened to hear we have a pop test that we must pass to graduate and its on maintenance of misc crap and what forms to fill out,..total BS class that is just a formality for all students,... anyway, luckly i passed, then the afternoon brings oh so much joy with a marine captian teaching us about naval gun fire,... i joined the army b/c i didnt want to be a marine and this is what i get.... damn,.. TGIF never meant so much to me as it does today,... getting drunk later at the O-club (officer club),... ok nuff ranting for the day,... |

Yay you passed! And yay for you getting drunk! TGIF? I don't remember what that means anymore. I haven't had a Friday off in years. :sadgreen:

You know, it's always weird to see a guy you work with macking with some other girl off shift... I don't know why? Maybe it's just because you're so used to their work persona that you forget they have an actual life? God, working at a club is so complicated! :stongue:
