ATB flaming Paul van dyk on his forum!

Hi everyone,
as mentioned on the German TA Board, ATB started a flame thread against Paul van dyk on his own Forum. (This is the LINK )
However I took the time and translated it for you. Please forgive if there are some mistakes in the translation. Translating is quite harder than just speakin ;)

And if someone will ever raise the question again whether I like him...here's my answer: He makes awesome music...but his jealousy has destroyed his character ( sry, this part was pretty hard to translate). (Here's a quote when I wanted to DJ right after him on the EinsLive
Krone2000 Afterparty but he didnt let me: "Piss off...I have more skills than you anyway!!
I did not say a word about this for 4 years! However...if he wants a war he can lead it alone. I will not get down on his level.
So Paul...You always wanted to tell me your opinion! Please..take your chance! I'm looking forward to it.

My opinion: I try to be objective as possible since I dont know what Paul is like in private. Many people already brought up discussions about "Pauls arrogancy", however I dont wanna comment this but ATB just seems to confirm it?

Jeez, talk about being a complete . If this is correct that is. Either ATB is spewing lying hate propaganda against Paul in order to get more attention, or PvD is an arrogant bastard who has let his success go completely to his head.
We'll see how it goes...
edit: does anyone have some of these interviews ATB speaks of where Paul keeps slagging him off? |

Well I don't think that Paul's public bashing of ATB is correct so I would understand he'd be kinda pissed.
This sounds way to much like two rappers being on a war against each other :haha: :haha:
Something like : Krs One Vs. Nelly :toothless :toothless
And concerning paul's arrogancy..... I speak to paul every couple months or so and he's always cool never came accross arrogant to me but I would understand if he came accross cold hearted with the fans due to the fact he tries to keep a distance a little too much. He is a very shy person.......... |

| well... I remember PvD flaming 9PM back in the days when it was voted trance track of the year 1999. He said he didn't want to be concerned trance because there was a track voted trance tune of the year which he would have never played. |

| Yea their is no doubt about it. PvD is very arrogant. I don't like him as a person at all, and from those who I have spoken to who no him personally have had some very suprising stuff to say about him. I won't break their trust by saying exactly what they said. Fortunately for a DJ and an Artist it's the music I follow, not their personalities. |

I disagree. I think Dave Clarke and Jeff Mills are two pompous techno asses with some of the worst attitudes I've ever seen. That doesn't stop me from respecting them deeply for getting me hooked on techno and being two of the most influential techno figures in the world. |

I dont quite know what your getting at? I follow PvD for his music, and his DJing skills. Not for who he is. Are you saying that makes me a hypocrite? I guess I don't quite get what you mean by 'rabid.' :conf: |
