As for trance of the radio, see I wouldnt mind trance being on the radio, its just that when trance does get on the radio in the states, it gets played out beyond belief because they have dont have depth to the scene. I remember when sandstorm and zombie nation hit the radio's... they never came off, every other song was either sandstorm or zombie nation.

Heres the problem with the US... lets say there was a big trance show established on the radios and it became rather popular - we dont have places to house the crowd that it would drawn in from the radios. The crowds are big enough as it is with trance being rather low key.

yea... obviously you dont know hip hop, cuz if you think its based aroudn what you see on tv (ex. 50 cent & eminem) then you are as close minded as those people who think trance is all about castles in the sky.... and heaven.

what would you say to this? because i cant find anything to say:mad:

First of all ther r lots of vocals.
2nd of all i'd rather listen to beats than to lyrics like hiphop's .
thirdly, the music's uplifting, its original, n it's PURE music,, tats the beatiful part ... so what , ppl tell me ta t al tha time ... yes true it mite get monotone after awhile, which in my opinion it doesn't (for some, it mite).. the energy keeps u in still ..

umm... style and delivery unmatched? no way. mos def and del are umpteen times better... and as for his beats, he gets a lot of help from the neptunes who make sick ass beats. i think jay-z is way overhyped. but i do dig those neptune beats. NERD is tight. and the they produce by themselves for other artists is ill too. oh but i agree with you that the aforementioned posts are almost impossible to read... it's like going to one of those websites where it's HTML hell. ;p

Maybe he can grow up first before posting tried and tested threads like this where there IS a single, common answer. But for your entertainment, Sahand, I'll leave that up to you for your 4-year old persona to fiddle around and figure out. Grow up you tard.

You need to get on some knowledge before you say like this. First off, give credit where credit's due...Jay Z is not , in fact, he's one of the most prolific MCs ever to grace a microphone. His style and delivery is unmatched, and he can pretty much make any beat sound like a banger. A rare breed where quality is always assumed. Why don't you try and listen to his non commercial stuff as well, as you seem to have a firm grasp on the fundamentals of commercialism and radio music, seeing that your conclusion about how anything-on-the-radio-is--automatically approach fails to really support your argument about what's commercial or not. Believe me, I live in SD where I hear Yeah about 20 times per day MINIMUM. It's hard to find good music, even harder to find it on the radio.

Yes, Gangstarr is awesome, one of my faves, but saying Jay Z is then talking about how awesome Gangstarr is only makes me look back and laugh at posts like this. I don't even know why I'm bothering with this topic again...this has to be the Xteenth time I've responded to immature threads like this.
And yes, I think I'll go smoke my weed now. Chump.

yah i member Zoltar and the industrial stuff that was on. then trancemissions. they used to do live sets from Buzz @ Nation towards the end of its tenure. Haven't really listened since college, but i know it got bombed off the air (surprise surprise). and i heard a rumor that Zoltar is back, so full circle i guess.

virginia = rox0r... ok so maybe not ;p

Now i havent listened in a long time, so i dont know if Trancemissions is still on the air, or is it now Subterranean with Zoltar? lol:haha:

btw nice to see another Virginian on the boards
