How 'bout all you little pussies stop dissing Oakenfold, aight? word.
lol.
Anyway, didn't Oakenfold play an 8 hour set @ Great Wall, China? It was invite-only, but still.
I trust Oakey will gain popularity again with the real die-hard tranceaddicts soon enough... he will... :nervous: |

well if u guyz noticed its only the oldschool tranceaddicts and members that are backing oakie including me ofcourse. i for example didn't pass by the darude, fragma, ian van dahl and this stage to get to trance. i got introduced to it by a tape for an oakie set and another for an astral projection (1997). of course i got carried away and till this day i will say oakie was OMFG!!!
maybe cuz new tranceaddicts (trancelisteners i mean) didnt' pass experience the 90's stage and they only witnessed oakenfold when he wanted to diversify so they think he's . and btw its totally his right to diversify and even look for new target listeners. the guy had did wut most djs can't do, and u know after a while u just want to change!!! i back him up all they way, even if he hadn't been my style the past couple of years, but i dig his new style. even if i don't i will say one word.
i respect oakenfold for what he did and wut he offered to EDM.
whoever disses him, show how immature and how he/she still didn't learn how to have a civilised argument with accepting other ppl's opinions.
my 2 cents, ciao |

| theres a saying which goes 'every dog has its day'. Maybe oakey has had his - i'd don't really care so much cause I'll still always be a fan of his just because of the magic he worked back then. To be truthful I think his priorities have changed somewhat - he's been there, seen it all and got the t-shirt. I think his allience lies more with the soundtracking and scoring of films plus cracking the commercial market. |
