where are you getting the proggy trance very, maybe the first 30mins was a litle proggy but after that it was bangin tech trance. The only i didn't like with Tiesto's playlist was the vocal tracks. Don't really car for those too much. 'Loves Come Again' would be a lot better without the vocals, the wicked riffs are enough.

What a night. to start off, mark oliver played an amazing set. I loved the tunes he was playing, mostly armin style. i went nuts when he dropped under the sun, clear blue, satellite, and circuits.

i met a bunch of u there, star searcher, the girl with the trance energy shirt and all the other guys, i didnt really catch ure names since the music was so loud sorry. i was the guy at the front of the stage all nite, close to starsearcher wearring a black dress shirt.

about tiesto, great first half, second half he had his on and off moments. highlite of tiesto's set for me was when he played dallas 4pm, one of my favorite tracks of all time. lots of other good ones as well, legacy at the end was not bad. i was surprised that he didnt drop suburban train, i thought that was going to be the encore track for sure. i was also surprised that he wasnt into it the whole night, i guess he was tired. when he was throwing the headphones i was basically on the stage reaching out lol, but he decided to throw them instead of give them to me, to the guy who caught them, good job, thats def one of best presents ull get this year :whip: . neways time to hit the bed. later

But did he play flight 643 vs. hide u?

I haven't heard tiesto in 2 years, tonight should be interesting!!

skipper im thinking that he'll be harder than toronto tonight for sure..if atleast for the 2nd half of his set with the mistress on after him. Yea ive heard montreal does tend to bring the harder edge out in djs..really lookin forward to it....

ive gotta say that as usual guv was incredible...that was singlehandedly the best crowd ive ever seen at a party...sooooo into it...damn shame tiesto wasnt his usual bubbly self cuz he really had the crowd eating out of his hands. Once again playin so many gigs in a row would prolly get to ya. Music wise ...wow...good ..not as stellar as armin but thats just personal choice...as a trance lover ive got to say i thoroughly enjoyed myself....

ON THE OTHER HAND.....it was boiling !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no real biggie for me...i usually crave heat and packed crowds..but even for me ...i just had to get to that patio at one point....after that initial breath of fresh air, it was alot easier going back in....

Night 1/3 complete...we leave for montreal in 4 hours..gluck to the poor souls driving...i shall be fast asleep with ma teddy in the backseat :D :D

Congratulations TOTA on giving tiesto the crowd reaction he so truly deserves..once again we showed that we can bring some incredible vibe to a party :)

there were a few loud chants but not for very long, Tiesto wasn't even responding to it which he usually does. I don't think he'l lplay in the kool haus because of the smoking thing.

Very peculiar night. Had it's good and not so good moments.

Got the club around 11PM, after being stack in the traffic on 401 for 30 minutes. Line up isn't too big and thanks to Mobius we barely had to wait a minute.

So far so good, lots of room dance, and we also find out that former Gold Club lounge is also open, and people can smoke in there. Crowd is excellent, very different from regular Saturday night crowd. Young and beatiful people(mostly)

Mark Oliver is spinning really really great stuff like G&M - Sunday Afternoon, and many other awesome, relatively new tracks. This is the best set I probably ever heard from Mark. Very impressed ! If only Mark played like this on regular nights.

Come 1AM, Tiesto comes on. And that's when I got really really pissed off. We got closer to the stage, and then we were almost trapped there. There were sooo many people that it was barely possible to move. I've never seen it that bad. Eventually it took me probably 10 minutes to reach the other end of the dancefloor. Those who saw my facial expression back then, knew that I wasn't happy.

I also had hard time adjusting to the vibe at Guv. People were always walking, pushing around - exactly the things I hate about Guv. So yeah, I just wasn't feeling it for some reason. However, about 2 hours in to the set he played Adagio For Strings, and after that played really really awesome stuff, like my current favourite track Rah - Pole Position(Airbase Remix), Nyana, Just Be, Alphazone - The Legacy! The highlight was Rah - Pole Position(Airbase Remix), I really went nuts while it was being played. Tiesto also played quite a lot of new tracks that I never heard before, and was generally very techy. He ended with Forever Today. A perfect conclusion to his set - that track sounded awesome in a club(much better than on a CD)

EDIT: Almost forgot. Tiesto also played Cosmic Gate - Ultra Curve. This track has probably the best build-up I've ever heard(around 3 minutes long). Absolutely incredible track !

BTW, that Dallas 4PM that he played is actually Obsession 4PM(Dallas 4PM vs Obsession). Really awesome track(pretty much the only track i fully enjoyed from first half of his set).

So if I were to summarize his set it would be:
- first 2 hours - very very average. Not worthy of #1 DJ.
- after 2 hours - UNBELIEVABLE ! No wonder he is #1 !

In total he played 3 hours 20 minutes. Not bad !

When Tiesto was done, Mark Oliver came back on and WOW ! The man delivered yet again in the same night! Played tons of awesome tracks, I actually enjoyed the set probably even more than Tiesto's cause many people left and there was lotsa room to dance. Mark - ABSO-IN-LUTELY OUTSTANDING! Keep up the great work, and try spinning like that on regular nights :) The last two tracks were Delerium - Silence(Tiesto Remix) and Olive - You are not alone(some cool remix). Then everyone was kicked out(around 6:20) and we headed for the bus to Waterloo.

Also, even though though there was tons of room to dance at the very end, it was still busier than Guv on regular saturday night at 6AM. Strange(cause it was a thursday). I guess people really didn't wanna skip even a minute of Mark Oliver.

Btw, no smoking law is really really cool ! I only had 1-2 cigarretes the entire night, which is really awesome. You could also see much clearer since there was no cigarrette fog.

Great to see everyone again! Too bad that too many TAs left early, but I guess you all have work and so are forgiven :D My bus didn't leave till 7AM, so I stayed till the end - excellent decision !
