there's no video of a missle hitting the Pentagon either, but your imagination and lack of cognitive reasoning makes that just as plausible to you. do you see how rational people find that, at the very least, bizzarre? |

do you guys know any website where they have challenged the conspiracy theory claims that no engine or plane parts of the size of a 757 were found at the crash scene ? I would be interested to read it. |

edit: i especially like this part

"On October 12, we started taking the stone off the building. We took down approximately 2,400 pieces of stone, a lot of which had melted aluminum from the plane embedded in it.

those government agents sure were clever! they managed to embed melted aluminium into the walls at the crash site!

| quote: |
And then we have this particularly detailed account from John Judge, referring to a flight attendant friend of his who had flown the Flight 77 route before.
"She saw parts of the fuselage of an American Airlines plane, a Boeing 757 plane... She recognized the polished aluminum outer shell, an unpainted silver color that is unique to American Airline planes, and the red and blue trim that is used to decorate the fuselage. She saw parts of the inside of the plane, which she easily identified since she flew and worked in them for years. Upholstery, drapes and carpeting she could identify by both color and design. The soft carpeting and padding of the inner walls had a cloud design and color she recognized from American Airline planes, though it has since been replaced. The blue coloring of drapes and carpet were also specific to the 757 or 767 larger planes, and were not used on the smaller planes. Seating upholstery also matched the AA 757 planes, including the blue color, tan squares and hints of white...
One area of fuselage had remaining window sections and the shape of the windows, curved squares not ovals, was also distinct to the 757's she had flown. She also saw parts with the A/A logo, including parts of the tail of the plane. Smaller A/A logos and "American" logos are also on the planes and she saw parts of those...
She spent approximately 15 minutes in the crash area looking at parts of the wreckage, all of which she recognized as coming from a Boeing 757 American Airline plane, the same planes she flew regularly. She did not see any rubber, only metal pieces of fuselage, engine parts and sections of the inside of the plane".

she was probably a government agent too. |

| thanks, i'll try to read through these websites. :) Conspiracy theories exist only in the minds of people who are not qualified to grasp the subtle technical issues of events. In this case, the 911 conspiracy stems from a lack of understanding of engineering and physics of structures and crashes. The conspiracy theory that man did not land on moon also stemmed from a similar type of ignorance. |

precisely. which is why when you ask them simple questions like "where'd the plane go?" or "which explosives were used?" they descend into this unsubstantiated nonsense-world, because in reality they do not have the ability to grasp the common-sense arguments in the first place. |

i get really frustrated with the arguments as common sense has no bearing. its as if they sprinkle lead paint chips on every meal in hopes of enlightenment.......
which one sounds more likely
nutjob hijacks plane, flies into building, it collapses due to fire and structural dammage....
OR
gov secretly hides 300 000 tonnes of thermate in teh form of super secret military "incidiary demolition charges" all over the building. a gov plane is then remotely piloted into teh building and it is brought down by controlled demolition, then blamed on terrorists so the gov could legally invade afganistan, for all its hidden riches, and so bush could bust out an opium pipe with the taliban....
ill give you +1 for creativity, but you should leave teh logical reasoning to people who have an iq that has more than 2 digits in it.... just go back to the basement and fire up another exciting round of dungeons and dragons whilst watching re runs of star trek deep space nine |

This is what the Washington D.C. area looks like to the pilots at 8,000 feet, if there is 100 percent visibility, ZERO clouds, standing still and having a window on the floor:

Pentagon is just CLEARLY the largest and most visible building in the whole friggin area it seems. |

No it's not. See the links I posted above. I verified the altitudes on Google Earth. The Pentagon is one of the largest buildings in the world. That picture is taken from about 80,000 feet you ing idiot. You forgot a zero. 2+2 = 4. Christ, have you ever even been on an airplane???
Unless of course you're arguing that the Pentagon was hit by a spaceship flown by extra terrestrials.

Here's the Pentagon from about 10,000 feet. It's the biggest building in D.C. for chrissakes. Looks like a pretty huge target to me.

For comparison, here's Turner Field (the baseball stadium here in Atlanta) from about the same altitude. The Pentagon dwarfs it in size. I don't see why hitting a building several times the size of a professional sports arena is suddenly some ridiculously impossible task!?
