8000 feet ? :stongue: Have you never flown on an airplane before ? They fly at an altitude above 35,000 feet and even then you can clearly make out the structures and roads down below.

Actually the pentagon would be EXTREMELY easy to find since it's located next to a very large and peculiarly shaped body of body.
Omega_M
Besides, I'm guessing that airplanes are fitted with a GPS. you don't even have to "see" the structure in the conventional sense of the word. Just check your readings and you are there.

from 35000 feet the pentagon is clearly visible. from 8000 it sticks out like a sore thumb...

No it's not. See the links I posted above. I verified the altitudes on Google Earth. The Pentagon is one of the largest buildings in the world. That picture is taken from about 80,000 feet you ing idiot. You forgot a zero. 2+2 = 4. Christ, have you ever even been on an airplane???

Unless of course you're arguing that the Pentagon was hit by a spaceship flown by extra terrestrials.

:haha: :haha: :haha:

Conversion table: 80,000 feet = 24384.0 metres. 24 km??????

LMAO .... the highest a plane was able to reach is:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flight_altitude_record

You idiot ....

F*ck, at that height, commercial planes dont even fly. Whatever you say ... LOL, the links you provided show your places at much lower altitude, like a birds-eye view, like me being on CN Tower in Toronto - same view pretty much. Airplanes that fly cross-continentally or internationally fly at much higher altitudes than 1 km. Imagine all planes flying at an altitude of 1 km (3300 ft) ... you'd have hard time sleeping if you are near a major urban area or flight path! LOL ....

No , Sherlock. What you posted is completely asanine. Yes, the picture you posted could very well have been taken from outer space.

Uhm, I used the same source for my imagery as you did. Clearly you don't know how long a foot is. My pics were posted from roughly 10,000 feet, the altitude cited by the official report as the altitude that the plane descended to on its initial approach back into D.C., before it descended to 2,000 feet, hit the accelerator and crashed into the Pentagon.

Honestly, I don't understand why you continue to dig yourself deeper into the hole you're in. Is anyone having as much fun with this thread as I am?:haha:

Seriously--have you ever been in an airplane? Be honest.

I wish I can provide you with a 100% reliable image link for 10,000 feet above Pentagon image, but its hard because Google Maps dont have a very accurate altitude zoom option (you cant really tell). But one thing for sure, YOUR links are at much lower altitude that airplanes like 747 fly at. They typically fly at 10,000-30,000 ft altitude, because thats the most FUEL EFFICIENT altitude for CROSS-CONTINENTAL and INTERNATIONAL flights, doofis.

"Aircraft [Boeign 747 -like] in cruise at roughly 35,000 feet above Bristol, England."

LOOKS FAMILIAR???

There is no way in hell that aircraft is flying at 35000 feet. That or the camera has zoomed in on the plane. Are you nuts ? if you look down from a plane flying at 35k feet, everything looks really tiny. How can the people on the ground see the plane this big ?

Boeing 747

WIKIPEDIA:

Cruising speed Mach 0.84
(555 mph, 895 km/h, 481 knots at 35,000 ft cruise altitude)

Mach 0.85
(567 mph, 913 km/h,
487 knots at same altitude)

Mach 0.855
(567 mph, 913 km/h, 490 knots at same altitude)

35,000 feet = 10,668 metres. You WONT BE ABLE TO SEE YOUR PENTAGON AT ALL. Tell me all you want, but at 10 km high, you just will not have the visibility to to see it. Unless you believe in too much BS.

LOL ... no - it zoomed in on the plane because its too dam high in the atmosphere. Never seen a plane with chemtrails before??? Thats because they're at extremely high altitudes.

EDIT: I can give you a better picture with LITTLE zoom with the same type of plane with contrails at similar flight height, if you want. Here Hamilton is the hotspot for cross-continental flights, plenty of chemtrails. But what difference will that make?

Or you have actually flown in an airplane. :stongue:

what a load of bull. Dude when the planes can fly and even land autonomously, do you think you need a visual to actually make the plane fly into a particular destination ? Why are you arguing so much ? All you gotta do is stare at the altimeter and the GPS reading and you can technically home in on the target.
