^^^ See? Perfect example of what we're up against. Israeli's wanting peace, the other side wants total elimination.
What the Palestinians need is democratic leadership, not more terrorists leading their cause, sending their children off to kill and die.
After years of terrorism is N. Ireland, even the IRA has wised up and realized the only way you're gonna get anywhere is thru politics. Every terrorist act only sets your 'cause' back, and they lose sympathy every time from the world spectators. Take note of 9/11- that move was the STUPIDIST thing Bin Laden could've done. He's brought a massacre upon the Arab and Muslim world cuz of it. Way to go, brainiac! |

Gimme a break... did u really think u could hijack planes into landmarks killing thousands of people and there wouldn't be a repercussion??? What rock are u living under? Even b4 the war started, muslims, and anything that looked like a muslim were being attacked by American's on the street as form of retaliation.
Oil or no oil, it caused massive damage to the arab world. you can thank bin laden for that. |

Even though i don't agree with anything Bin Laden has done, i still wouldn't say anything about him when he died. I don't think it's right to insult a dead man. Hate him while he's alive, leave him alone when he's dead.
The less you speak about him, the less he will be remembered because i do believe he wants to go down in history as 'the man who did...' I wouldn't give him that pleasure. I would still remember 9/11 and the victims, the people who died in Iraq and Afghanistan because of his actions, but i will not give him the pleasure of being talked about after his death. Some people are best forgotten. |

Some food for thought:
Israel is the only country in the middle east (or the whole arab world if I'm not mistaken), in which the Arabs are allowed to vote. That's right, if you're a an Arab Israeli citizen, you're allowed to vote and even run for political office. If you're a Westerner in any other part of the region, your life is at risk simply for not being a muslim, or being a woman not accompanied by a man or covering your face.
*Gasp* but we musn't criticize! If these people cut off heads, beat women, and call for death to Jews...they're not the racists, bigots, misogynists, and intolerant ones! We are!!:rolleyes: We must tolerate their intolerance because it's the tolerant thing to do. It's duh Cunadiun way. |

Americans shouldnt be surproised if they get another 911 imo,by voting Bush they put themselves in more risk of getting more terrorist attacks.
As far is Arafat being a terrorist meh you,he was a leader of the Palastinian people and people there loved him and respected him and he was fighting the Isreali occupation.
Also when I said Hamas will ge the power,it doesnt mean I support them but it just the way things are going.
I dont see how Araft being dead could do any good to Isreal.Since now Isral has to face groups like hamas and others to deal with.
