why is everyone bitching about the pvp, or lack of pvp??!!! its getting on my last damn nerver listening to ignorant people complain. blizzard is going to implement a whole new pvp system (i.e. BATTLEGROUNDS) so dont complain about something that hasnt even begun... if youre complaining about blizzards lack of motivation to get projects completed on time, thats one thing, but just bitching about pvp when there is no final pvp sytem implemented yet is just ignorant...
battlegrounds will rule, i see it as a dota (defense of the ancients) for wow basically, but that may just be how im reading it. oh yeah

You have to launch the WoWRankings updater program prior to starting WoW in order to upload your character profile to the site.
Battlegrounds should be pretty cool, I'm looking forward to them quite a bit myself. My guild is doing Molten Core right now and it's a lot of fun; Magmadar is a total mother****** to kill for Horde =P |

Yeah im doing the wowrankings updater program, but its not working. Oh well. I guess my old character will be feared by many. |

Definitely.

Yeah, that was by far the most even largish scale Hillsbrad PVP battle I've ever been to. Has me stoked for battlegrounds. |

Just a little over a month later, and I'm on the cusp of level 49.
I still love this game and it's great fun, but do I play too much? With other online RPGs, it seems like it takes FOREVER to get to max level. Take Asheron's Call for example: it took the first person nearly a year and a half to make it to level 126 (max level) and you just know that person was playing a TON.
So I guess this game isn't really about having 1 primary character...I will get bored at 60 if I know I can't get any more character growth (besides items).

what is your /played?
The consensus I've found is that at level 60 your /played is somewhere from 15-20 days. About 3x as much time as it was taking people to get to lvl 65 in EQ. The reason it seems to be going fast in WoW, is simply because you aren't really going through a boring grind so it doesn't seem like it's taking as much time as it is.
