In PVP, you can only attack members of the opposing faction, not your own race.
And RP, is identical to normal + roleplaying usually. They are just servers for people who want to really act like they are in the game and not be bothered by people talking in leet speak or talking out of character about things in real life. |

| you guys got it wrong for normal server....u can only kill horde people by typing /pvp....if they type it too....then u can ruin them..or if they attack somone of the alliance and your near...you will automatically go hostile....so its horde vs alliance..ill show all a pic of a massive ass raid the last day of the beta...but i gotta go to class..ill post it later tonite...lol got raped by the ogrimar guards...lol but it was cute |

is it bad to start playing regularly several months in? me being level 1 and everyone else 30+ on average, with an evolved economy?
btw RP sounds like my kinda thing |

Not bad. The major advantage of starting when the game comes out is you can get in on things early. IE: In everquest most of the big guilds on ever server started close to the start of the the server itself. So, by starting early, not only can you be able to be relatively close behind the other players, you can also get in on any guilds looking for recruits now, when later on they may be more selective about who they take.
Plus, in the beginning of most MMORPGs, there tends to be broken things and bugs in the beginning which can make the experience worse, but sometimes they can be beneficial helping you advance your character fast til they fix it or make money fast. |

| ya i think we talkin about the same raid..lol.....everyone assembled in auderbine at the docks...we had around 50humans and 30 dwarfs..then 100night elves...we ran to the barrens not orgrimar my bad...and wow....wat an onslaught...i cant upload the pic this week..gotta wait till dec1st to get an account on photobucket :S...so you shall all see it soon..lol.... |
