Oh man, I saw this at Wal-Mart today, and I got MMORPG fever! :eyes:
NOT good....but soooo good....damnit! :whip:
This is the only online game as of late that's culled my interest. Unfortunately, I don't really have money that I *should* be spending on this sort of thing - it's not school (I've got that handled right now) but I sorta need a job to pay for a monthly subscription and all that...Is it worth it? How much $ per month?
Once again, I have all this free-time to play all the damn games I want to, but I have free time because I don't work...and if I don't work, I can't have money to occupy this free time with Warcraft! :whip:

| Same. I've gotten some strong anti-inflammatory medication to quell my tendonitis so that I can literally not leave my room for all of Christmas break, except when I'm eating and the washroom, heh. |

Well it seems harder than it was in open beta, but maybe it's just me. Last night I hit lvl 20 and I have around 25 hours played.
And I think it is the same amount if you buy the game cards which is good, caus' usually game cards make it more expensive since the company has to pay to manufacture the cards and ship them and whatnot. |

To me, stat systems will make/break a good RPG.
Could you explain how experience and leveling and all that works? I understand that usually killing/quests = XP, but is there anything unique with this game?
Take Asheron's Call, for example. Gaining in level didn't really do much - experience was what mattered. Every XP point you gained went into your XP bank for your character, and you could spend that on making yourself better. Like, raising your strength from 100 to 101 takes 3,000 XP or somethign like that. YOu could also spend your XP on skills that you were either trained or specialized (extra-trained) in. Specialization made the skills cheaper to raise, thus easier to get a really high statistic. anything kinda new like this system? I think it worked out great...is it just, level and get better, or are there combinations for some REALLY unique characters out there?
What is level cap, btw? |

what kind GFX card do you have?
wondering considering the graphics dont look THAT good, much better than EQ, but just not that good. |

Trust me the graphics are beautiful. I myself have a Raddy 9600 Pro, and it runs it well at 1024x768 or slightly more at 50% texture quality and full distance vision and object distance vision + glowing effect, etc.
It's probably his card, because believe me, it's beautiful. It's cartoony in the way Blizz makes it (which is a good thing). |
