I leveled fast at first, thinking that it was just because Blizz hand-feeds you those first few levels. Somewhere areound level 50 or so, I looked back and went "Oh - how did I level so fast?" Obviously, I play a lot, but it was just too late to turn back then. :p
Hero classes should be cool...
if/when they come out. :( |

Ok, here's some pics from my adventures in Azeroth.
"Halcyon vs. Halycon" is probably my favorite. :happy2:
edit: Ok, the 5th one down is one taken in Black Rock Spire (BRS) -sorry it formatted kind of funny- but the huge worg I have selected is called "Halycon"... not to be confused with my character, "Halcyon" - see how the spelling is a bit different? :D
She was a huge bitch, as was the big male she summoned upon dying, but we managed to gank them. :)
The 8th one through the 10th one detail our raid upon Nathanos Blightcaller in the Eastern Plaguelands. He's not that hard all by himself, but he summons about 30-40 level 58 (non-elite thank Elune) skeletons that are immune to AoE (area of effect spells). Tough little bastards that like to gang up on healers about 20 at a time, but we managed to defeat them all and complete the quest for those who needed it. It gives one of the best bows in the game as a reward for killing him, so it's very much desired by many a hunter to raid him. :D

Umm, I only play now for High End Content Raids, Molten Core & Onyxia, so far we've gotten up to Baron Geddon without killin Garr, cause were waiting on another warrior to be the final offtank (pallies suck at keepin aggro btw), and got about 15 epic pieces for our guild. This is on Stormreaver, thought I was pretty pissed off with myself yesturday for rolling a 23 outta 1000 for 2nd Tier Epic bracelet, Bracelet of the Wrath. I was lucky to find a really good guild who knows what they want and makes it happen (good leadership).
EDIT: we just got the bracelet of the wrath again, I had monopoly on that this time around!!! woot, my first epic piece! |

Damn Halcyon... sweet mount and pet :eyes:
I think I should have played alliance... horde just looks so silly :p but it's fun anyway. Oh and the race I picked sucks, druids can do a little of everything but I am not *good* at anything except healing at level 30; I am always prime healer unless there is a priest of course, but that's very rare. Hope it gets better when I hit 30... I'm 28 now... would be 35 or so but I am helping my bf level up a 3rd character after having waited already so he could level up a 2nd :rolleyes: He just can't decide what he likes. He wanted a rogue at first, then quit that and changed to warrior, started hating it and now we're levellng him a shaman. Sooo boring.... :p |

Nice, we just went on our first molten core run, and just beat Lucifron, we're gunna head back monday and see what we can do. |

Heh, thanks. The mount was easy to get (buy), but the aqua cat was a different story. :p
You get him at Frostsaber Rock in Winterspring, he just wanders around...thing is, there's level 60 Frostsaber Stalkers that stealth all over the area, so by the time you see him and go "there you are!", you've got about 5 or 6 level 60 cats pouncing on you at once. I swear they coordinate these things :haha:

I chose alliance because I really like the aesthetics a lot more :happy2: :stongue:
Also, on our server, alliance outnumbers horde by a lot.
Any character is good if you know how to play them. Blizzard did an excellent job of balancing the players and the gameplay so that all things are availably equal - that is, druids can be the best characters in the game if you have the best player. Likewise, if you have the worst player, druids can be terrible - this seems pretty obvious, but it's surprising how this factor doesn't exist in a lot of online games anymore. :p
It's just a matter of picking a character you're happy with. Druids can be really good healers and can also be versatile damage-dealers as well - it's all about being attentive. Plus, the shape-shifting forms are cool. :D
If you *really* want to be a good player though, here's a tip: heal the hunter's pet once and a while. :happy2: |

BTW, I was wondering... How exactly can you tame a non combat pet that you see wondering on the ground?
It seems like the only thing i can do to them is kill them. |

Well, I play a hunter, so I was able to tame a cat as a pet (hunter ability).
If you mean like rabbits and snakes and stuff, then you're going to have to go buy those at stores. I know the little boy who wanders in Stormwind sells kittens. :happy2:
You can also buy parrots and snakes and other non-combat pets at the Auction Halls of the world. (Alliance AH is in Ironforge)
Unfortunately, you can't like go out and tame a cockroach or anything. Gotta buy them from stores around the world. |
