I had a great time.. The PPL where super... The stage girls where hot.. The one with the blue suit kept making love to my camera. My camera wasn't behaving that night so I only got a few good pictures.

THX to all the TAs. You made my night that much more interesting.

Ok, very late xomment on a thread that's almost 30 pages long, but...

Has anyone else noticed the progression of the big 3 (Tiesto, PVD and Armin) towards a significantly harder sound when they spin live.

Seems like only yesterday when the boys were spinning mostly euphoric stuff. Now they seem to be moving towards a much harder sound. In a lot of cases, it's the same songs, but more banging mixes of them.

Tiesto really played a banging set from about 2:30 onwards (broken up by the occasional vocal piece) But overall, much harder than he used to play.

I'm torn and can't decide whether I like the evolution or not. Some nights i just want to be "rank-1-ed" or "Scott Bond-ed" or something euphoric... other nights I really like to dance hard. Just seems like the big guys are forcing trance into a something with a harder edge.

And to be honest, as much as I loved Tiesto's set, I really could have used one big vocal bomb at the end... something to go home singing.

^mmmmm.......listen to magik 1 or magik 7 and any inbetween, and youll notice that tiesto spun much harder music back then, than today, armin imo was very vocal, and still is.....dont know about PVD tho...

ya euphoric was much better. they still spin it but definitely u can notice that they are getting harder. i think matt darey is still pretty euphoric. really wish i could hear a set of pure euphoria atleast once in a while

i couldnt agree with you more. me and my friends got the same impression at the guv when tiesto was there in june, and didnt really enjoy the set. we thought this time it mite be diff, but it turned out to be the same thing. i would much rather listen to the euphoric stuff usually played by armin, filo n peri, scott bond, lately mark oliver etc. basically nething from asot.
