I have to agree with this. When the Bekaa still had hash in the mid eighties, it was top of the line, and way better than anything you could get anywhere else. Of course, the Syrians "burned" down the hash fields now, so Morocco has taken over as the number one exporter of quality hasish...mmmmmmmmm, le Kif de Rif :p

Speaking of lebanon I found this: http://www.cggl.org/
Of all the movements and parties going around, I wish this one would actually make it in the parliament one day and gets majority votes. |

Won't happen. The Lieberals support the Syrian occupation of Lebanon because of the dynamics of the Muslim vote in Toronto.
Your best hope is to contact Stockwell Day, who singlehandedly got the govenment to act on Hizbollah.

dude, there's way more lebanese people than Syrian people in Canada... so why would the Liberals would want Syria inside Lebanon? |

It has to do with Israel, and getting Muslims votes.
During the civil war there were pro-Israel Christian militias versus anti-Israel/pan-Arab nationalists/fundamentalist Muslim militias. While most of those militias have disbanded and the two (actually many more than that...) groups are essentially at peace, Hizbollah has become the dominant anti-Israeli voice. Many non-Lebanese Muslims support Hizbollah in its stuggle against Israel.
So while there are Lebanese Christian votes available in Canada, there are many more Muslims from other parts of the world that support Hizbollah and want Israel destroyed. It's those groups that the Lieberals are targeting. The presence of Syrian troops indirectly helps Hizbollah. The Lieberals dithered on Hizbollah, and dither on Syrian troops.
Lebanese, esp. Christians, really need to reassess who their allies are in Canada. THe Lieberals are certainly not their allies. |

Holy Crap man the situation in lebanon and syria is so out of control right now.
I flew in to damascus the day Harriri was assasinated (God rest his soul) to find people glued to the TV 24 hours a day. It only makes matters so much worse for everyone watching al jezera and arabyia and all that nonsense.
What ty luck Lebanon might be on the brink of civil war the day I decide to finish my education in lebanon. Its going to be nice to get my ass beat on the lebanese border when I go there in a couple of days. Real nice.
STAY IN CANADA!!!!!!!!!!!
