No, I can't. That is something that you, as you hippies put it, feel. ;) Northern Exposure 1 has "depth", the tracks may not have the most obvious melody, but there's definitely something there. |

Thanks, finally all this bitching proves to be educational. :stongue: But, there's something other than that... I think it's in the production really. Most trance just sounds so artificial. |

And that's good production. The artifical thing backs up what I said about trance not sounding organic... artists like Future Sound of London have the brilliant talent of making purely synthesised music sound more natural than analogue instruments. |

I'd say that's simple production. 909 drum, melody, throw in some "fresh" sound effects and ya got yourself some McTrance. |

| Sounds like most producers use standardized sounds, with minimal modifications. That, combined with the typical formula for epic trance... well, is it really well-produced then? I usually don't find them well-written either... |
