| Fibonacci Sequence... nice track, goes through plenty of different stages, not like the usual trance buildup-breakdown-blah-blah. Dunno if it's complex though... |

What’s a Dj with ought his records? Weather its trance or techno the principle is the same you mix one track into another as smoothly as possible. For most Techno Dj's this shouldn't be to much of a problem as there is so little variation in techno. The fact of the matter is you like Techno i like Trance/Prog/Psy. I don't dig your repetitive and minimalist songs, you don’t dig the samples, instrumentals and vocals in Trance. |

you are still missing the point. maybe you would be able to tell me the answers after a few years in high school. then again high school math does not get that advanced |

I never said that "i like to watch a dj"
There was a dj competition in my city lately, and I was watching the dj's at that. The techno dj from Dublin was mental, he was the fastest at beatmatching, and using the eq's and crossfader extremely quickly.
I cant really explain it, but theres a lot more mixing to techno, instead of fading one track into the next. Because its minimal u can d a lot more with it, but with trance, u cant do too much because it will sound ,because it clashes with all the melodies and .
Thats prob the worse explanation i can give, but any techno dj would know it makes sense! |

apparently you haven't heard much trance. and where the do you come up with these terminologies like "organic"?!!?
when the hell did i ever say it's "organic?" as a matter of fact, i never refer any type of music to be organic, i leave that for food.
something simple, utterly bereft of "complexity" as you like to put it, may sound beautiful nevertheless. and there's plenty of wicked vocal trance tracks...which brings me to my initial point, you've not heard much trance in your life hitherto. |

No variation in techno? Then you're not paying attention, which means you don't give a about the music at all.

| to me, trance is like a lifestyle. its the one thing, atleast where i live, that makes me that much different from everyone else, and i love talking about the music, listening to it, mixing it, and producing it. i mean, i love basically every genre except hard house and hardcore, and althought i can feel my tastes drfting a little, when i hear a classic trance tune or a classic set, i feel so at peace and i know trance will always be near and dear to my heart... |

You're right. I've only heard maybe a little over a thousand trance tracks in my time.
Organic= music that sounds natural. I can give plenty of examples.
Did I ever say simplicity is bad? I said "if you like complex music, trance isn't much use". Do you want to argue with that? |
