Wow
I just got the CD copies of this album in the post this morning. Wonderful mix, love the way its key as well as beat mixed.
Was extremely happy to see the album was mastered by Arjan, this guy also mastered the ASOT2004 album. The whole album just has a very high quality deep rich wide sound.
So many compilations these days skimp on cheap mastering and manufacturing, resulting in a thin dull flat sound and that really annoys me, so its great when a compilation like this comes along with a high fidelity sound.

yea mastering may seem like something small that doesn't really matter, but it affects mixes, and tracks more then most people imagine. It sounds like it was done well here. |

| Does anyone have a pic of the album cover? I'd like to see it so I can find the album faster once it's out in the US. ;) |

| armin's mixing is always quality, thats all i have to say, his transitions are perfect, beat matching is perfect, what more can you ask for in a compilation, it certainly puts tiesto's nyana to shame. |

The ASOT2005 is perfectly beat matched and indeed key matched.
I can't off the top of my head actually think of any other compilation album that's perfectly musically key matched in the way this one is.
It's interesting because, whilst I herald Sasha's Involver as a trully groundbreaking album and very unique sound, I haven't listened to it since the first day I ever bought it, just felt no compulsion too, it seems to have shelved itself in my collection.
Whereas this album I'm finding myself wanting to pop it into the CD drive and listen to it again. Only the 2nd day I've had it granted but I've played the whole thing through about 3 times already and still feel a little bit of magic about it
