do u guys have any advice or recommendations for where to stay in NYC or even NJ if it's not too far.
it doesn't have to be some sort of high class hotel, but just somewhere to spend the night. so something cheap, but not a dump.

| i'm coming in next weekend (14-17). does anyone have any information about the st. patrick's day parade? i think i'm going to stay for that and then head down to dc for the rest of the week. |

| thank you so much 4 this awesome thread. I have some questions? I went on websters hall website and it says * No hats, no sneakers, no timbs, no sports wear. wtf no sneakers is that a joke should I bring my flip flops just in cause? I also have a very nice 60 dollar quicksilver button shirt Id like 2 wear would that work out. sorry 4 the newb questions but its my first time going 2 a night club lol. Im from virginia so Im just making sure I can get in cause it would suck if I went all the way up there and there like wtf R you wearing lol. Im 19 so I can get in yea 4 me. |

if the party you're going to is put on by made event then there's no dress code... otherwise, just come looking crispy.
there are no hats allowed, I know that for sure. you can swear sneakers, just make sure they arent some dirty ass kickers. make sure you're wearing some nice jeans, etc. Just look nice, be confident, and you'll be fine.
one time my friends wanted to go to pacha for a john peters party and they wouldnt let me in cause my jeans were too baggy and my shirt was too big. I told him, these are $200 coogi shirt and jeans... he said, come back when you're properly dressed, it's the whole look

Baci & Abbraci in Williamsburg has these awesome Violette Gnocchi with goat cheese and beets, so yummy, got the recipe too ;) |

Can you advise me a good Cocktail-Bar or Chillout-Bar? I read that there is one in the GE-Building (Top of the Rock). Or is there any other better one? Must be very spectecular :D |
