Can anyone suggest the best times during the day to line up for the Empire State Building and the Statue Of Liberty? I heard there's usually a two-hour lineup for the Liberty Island ferry. Thanks!

i've lived in this city all my life and i've only been to the empire state building once, never to the liberty. If you are pressed for time i'd suggest you call them up and find out the information. i'm sure if you google it you'd be able to find a number for information on each.

if you do have time to see these things, i'd suggest just going and making it a day of, also a nice attraction is the South Street Seaport (good shopping and eating), also walking across the brooklyn bridge is another nice thing to do. central park strawberry fields to hang out in. the museums both on the east and west side. Battery Park by wall st/ground zero/city hall area.

chinatown for eats and culture. soho for shopping (all along broadway), east village by st marks for shopping/dining. There is plenty this city has to offer up besides the mecca times square.

God, I hate Times Square. One of the worst parts of this city in my opinion. If I were a tourist and just went to Times Square, I'd wonder why in the hell anyone would want to live here.

I found some good deals on attraction passes:

http://www.newyorkpass.com/index2.asp

You can only visit an attraction once per day, but you can go back another day as long as your pass is still valid. Lots of places to visit.

http://citypass.com/city/ny.html

You can only visit each attraction once. Only 6 places to visit.

Did anyone put Woodberry Commons Outlets? I know when my family comes they like to visit there for the cheap prices on the clothing. I belive they have busses from China Town & Bus Station.

If your visitng its good they got alot of good shops too: Nike, Diesel, Gucci, YSL, and more

Especially that stupid Mtv TRL crowd that sits outside all day just to scream on camera and hold dumb signs and almost forgot this one.....to wave back at some Celeb waving at them through a window.
