| Coming up to NYC with the gf on April 6th-9th... Going to crobar to see Danny Howells on friday.. not sure what to do besides shopping the rest of the time... any recommendations? |

I know well where i'm coming to, but being out of town I would like some specific recommendations... such as which is the better museum to choose out of museum galore or another attraction thats recomenneded... i know i can go to those links and find a thousands of things to go to but I would like locals suggestions on specific places |

I'm not asking ppl to guess what i would like... but answer this question for me and the same question goes for everyone.. name 2 or 3 of your fav new york attractions and what you like about them.. |

locals don't have a favorite attraction!!!
How about this one - RIDE THE SUBWAY? It'll cost you $2, or if you feel like a rebel, get a $7 ALL DAY PASS, you can even take the train all the way out to the suburbs (flushing via 7 Line) I highly recommend it! It's one of the hotest tourist attractions out there and many people just dismiss it. Go get yourself some Flushing!
Oh and if you feel threatened at any time, don't worry no one will know you're a tourist, it's where the TRUE LOCALS HANG! |

| don't know if this has been posted before (can't read all 9 pages of this thread), but i found www.hopstop.com to very helpful in figuring out how to use the subway system. just put in your beginning and ending address and it tells you which stations you need to go to, transfer etc. |
