you miss the point...they dont like the tracks because they are/were good track, they like the tracks because tiesto plays them.
the tl looks mediocre at its best and the set didnt impress me at all.
this topic reminds me of the tic2 topic...everybody went crazy when he played old tracks but if i or any other amateur dj played them they would go mental on me....
Ps: because i know that you will say that i am saying this only coz i have a pvd avatar..nice reason... |

LOL, I'm not defending his n00b fans that think he's the be all end all of trance. I'm just saying that he's found himslef a very nice niche to sit in and there's no reason for him to change that. He has a huge fan base that loves everything he does. As far as him dropping old tracks at TIC2, if I remember correctly he devoted a whole hour to old requests which, given his station in the DJ world, he can do and get away with. Since you bring up PVD, would all the PVD faithful go "OMFG, that's . You suck PVD". if he had part of a set somewhere where he played old tunes from back in the day?? No, they'd fawn over it and go mental just like the Tiesto heads did. You know why?? Because he has a fan base just like Tiesto does that are well convinced thet anything he touches is gold and anything he does is the greatest thing in the DJ world. That's the luxury you get when you get that big.
As for your PS, way to put words in my mouth, but honestly I could'nt care less if you had DJ Sammy as your avatar. |

| The difference is that PVD doesn't play For An Angel each and everytime he shows up to dj. If Tiesto shows up it's pretty much guranteed that he's going to play Traffic whether he's taking requests or not. |
